" AROUND HALF AT THE BAR" is an organization of scooter riders for scooter riders and their families.

So was the horror news when Markus R. left his wife and newborn child in a deadly wildlife accident on his Vespa in 2015. Spontaneously the Scooterszene organized a fundraiser for his wife and daughter. Vespa and Lambretta friends helped quickly and unbureaucratically.

Northern Soul Fist - symbol of the Norther Soul scene
The black fist has its origin in the USA, as a symbol of the resistance of the Afro-American population during the independence movement of the 60s and 70s.
Black gloves were also popular with Northern Soul dancers in the 70s during their acrobatic moves on the dance floor. In addition, black leather gloves for scooter driving were probably very popular with the mods. So it became a symbol of Northern Soul events and a symbol of the scene. It quickly adorned posters and flyers of the events as well as patches on bags and jackets of the supporters of this youth movement. To this day it is a symbol for Northern Soul lovers and therefore also very popular among scooter riders.
