Exit to the motor scooter museum in Kaub

On Saturday we made our way to Kaub for the Krüger family run Scooter museum to be examined. Many people may still be familiar with the name Krüger through various TÜV certificates such as the DR 134ccm cylinder for the PX80.

Starting from Bergheim, they first met the local Vespa club in Euskirchen in order to get from there to Ahrweiler on the Rhine. Here they used the Rhine ferry to cross over to Linz and then to get to the meeting point along the river.

The official meeting point for the tour was the parking lot below Ehrenbreitstein Castle near Koblenz, directly opposite the German corner. From here it went over the Rhine heights to St. Goarhausen and from there along the Rhine past the legendary Loreley to the motor scooter museum in Kaub. The museum currently includes around 120 scooters from 15 countries. Really worth seeing.

It was a very nice and extensive tour and after almost 12 hours we were back in Glessen. Almost 400 km in one day in bright sunshine.
