The popular luggage racks from FA Italia are now available just in time for the summer holidays.

Folding luggage rack are simply hung at the top of the leg shield and fixed on the sides with the enclosed tensioning screws. This is a great way to stow bulky luggage. Before the trip, the cargo is handled by our Lashing straps and lashing straps secured - and the tour can start.

How does the fuel tap wrench work?

And what do I need this tool for anyway? In almost all classic Vespa models, the fuel tap is inserted into the tank from the outside / below and into the tank from above Screwed inside the tank with a nut. To remove the Vespa fuel tap, you need a fuel tap wrench.

Our remedy is now new fuel tap wrench from bgm in a cranked version. The bgm PRO Multi Tooth tool uses a modern multi-tooth instead of a simple open-end wrench. This makes it quicker and easier to grab and turn the nut of the fuel tap.

  • The Vespa models VNA, VBA (up to frame number 81256), VNB1-2T and the VGLA (T4 / Touren up to frame number 017409) use a smaller fuel tap with a fastening nut with a wrench size of 22mm. This BGM PRO fuel tap wrench does not fit here.

If the Dell ”Orto throttle slide is to be used, this aluminum cast pin can simply be withdrawn a little.

Advantage of the PHB carburettor

A big advantage of the PHB carburettors is their easy and good tunability as well as their insensitivity to changes in weather. The PHBH shows quickly and clearly whether the mixture is too rich or too lean. A Mikuni or Keihin carburetor usually runs surprisingly well, even if the tuning is too lean, which unfortunately can quickly manifest itself in a Klemmer.

PHB carburetor spraying

Most scooter engines have the following basic spraying for the PHB carburetor series as a good starting point proven:

If problems with the fuel supply are suspected, it is advisable to convert to a larger float needle valve (# 250).
