German Vespa Days 2012

Last weekend the Vespa Club of Germany (VCVD) celebrated its 60th anniversary under the name of German Vespa Days on the site of the disused Ewald colliery in the heart of the Ruhr area. The area and the buildings of the colliery, which was closed in 2000, have completed the structural change that is taking place everywhere in the Ruhr area and established themselves as a location for both companies and leisure activities. The venue was well chosen and there was enough space for exhibitors, visitors and vehicles. The historical setting was perfect for our Vespas. A visit to the Vespa Days was really worth it.

We were also with our test stand and some selected Vespa parts such as our new one bgm Pro SC shock absorbers or the Disc brake conversion kit on site. On Saturdays it was initially quite rainy but during the day the weather got better and better. Our test bench was well received and also attracted some exotic species.

Our goodie bags were also really well received. Scooter Center Gym bag for the Vespa offspring with catalogs, sticker sheets, shopping chip, ballpoint pen and online shop voucher.

For entertainment there was a historical Vespa register, a dealer mile, a private parts market, an ADAC obstacle course and some shows.

The Vespisti were well taken care of. A great thing and that Scooter Center Team wishes the VCVD many more years to come.
