DISPLAY ROLLER FROM SCOOTER CENTER

A demonstrator is always an expression of individual skills and technical resources; it is, so to speak, a specialist's feasibility study. As such, that is Scooter Center in Bergheim near Cologne (www.scooter-center.com) well-known, but their youngest baby, the Race Project 2003, will further reinforce this reputation. Especially since even insiders hardly find the basis of the appetizing conversion - it is a Piaggio quartz
identify at first glance. The splendid effect paint distracts too much the gaze, which reveals skulls, animals and geometric shapes depending on the incidence of light - a praise for the elaborate airbrush work by the Austrian arrow design.
However, it says Scooter Center-Demonstrator not only focuses on the revised optics, as the name suggests. Under the bright green shell, the Bergheim-based mail order company installed everything in terms of real racing technology that is good and available in their own range. Bring the brave TUNING really up to speed

Green outside, poisonous inside:
Under the cover of the 2003 Race Project of the guys from Scooter Center hides thoroughbred racing technology with noble BGM and Polini Evo parts

THE RACE PROJECT

two-stroke fifties, among other things, a 70s kit from Polini Evo, which provides the required larger displacement. A large PHBG Dell'Orto carburettor with a 19 mm diameter with Polini air filter enables the fresh air required for a correspondingly higher level of performance, while a Polini Evo exhaust helps the burned exhaust gases to exit quickly and with a powerful sound. The full-cheek racing crankshaft from its own BGM label is correspondingly stronger and speed-resistant.Its power is transmitted via a reinforced BGM Racing Pro clutch with Adige clutch bell to the more powerfully dimensioned and more powerful converter, variator and V-belt - also from Polini Evo . A larger cooler takes care of a regulated thermal household, a longer Polini gearbox enables adequate driving performance. In fine-tuned condition and neatly coordinated, the fluffed aggregate loosened up the lively 21 PS during the last test bench run. With this power and the associated performance, the series chassis would of course have been hopelessly overwhelmed. That is why the Bergheimers built in harder tuned and with larger reserves provided spring elements from Bitubo at the front and rear, which give the whole load a good deal more stability. This also seems to be necessary, because the MalossiMHR pads shouldn't squint the mounted braking disc and force the front wheel guidance to its knees - hardness is required, at least on the chassis side! Logical that all modifications are in the current Scooter Center- Find the catalog again - so that everyone can put together their own dream scooter.
