70 years of scooters in Germany

The Scooter Center has been around for almost 30 years and we know exactly what the scooter means for us and our customers. But when the scooter became popular in Germany 70 years ago, no expert would have predicted which wave with Vespa & Co. would be kicked off in Germany in the next few years.

Then as now it was and is Scooters are more than just a means of transport for their owners. Riding a scooter in a community and sharing a shared passion was already very pronounced in the 1950s. This is still the basis for numerous clubs, interest groups, as well as internet forums and groups that deal with old scooters. But these are mostly focused on a certain scooter brand (such as Vespa, Lambretta) or series (such as Vespa Rally, Lambretta Special).

By December 31.12.2019, 464, 356 participants had already registered and 26 scooters from 10 different brands had registered. The participants are between 85 and XNUMX years old and come from all over Germany, Europe and also from overseas.
An overwhelming feedback for the joint, cross-brand Altroller meeting. The goal is to have a once in a lifetime experience with 800 to 1000 old scooters realizing is becoming more and more realistic!
