Vespa Happy Black 125 cc
owner: Dana Zinnen
Motor: Original 125 cc
Exhaust : JL Scorpion with E-Norm
Remodeling time: about 1 year
Story behind it:
It was supposed to be an everyday vehicle that a 16-year-old could use to drive to her training. "Unfortunately" the project escalated a little during the restoration phase.
But who is surprised with the father?

Vespa Simpson 177 cc Polini
owner: Michael Zinnen
Motor: 177 cc Polini
28' Dellorto carburetor
SIP 2.0 Right Hand Exhaust
This scooter was driven by Romuald Clavier for the Open Day, as he came especially from near Paris for the Open Day. He then travelled from Aachen with us Aacheners on the Vespa.
Michael Zinnen
I made the journey from Ulm to visit you with my friends from Aachen, Michael Zinnen & Michael Zocher.
This was a rather spontaneous action, which is why Sprint was allowed to ride in the car.
Otherwise, she enjoys traveling under her own steam, as evidenced by over 20.000 kilometers in just over 2 years.
Our destinations were the Alps, but also the Vosges, the Black Forest, Lake Garda, Lake Maggiore, France in the form of the Route des Grandes Alpes and many other countries and places.
Next will be Sardinia from September 28.09th.

Vespa PX200E Lusso GS
The Vespa is equipped with a Polini Road Box The engine was completely overhauled by a specialist workshop a few months ago and last week I got a new cylinder head from Scooter Center The Vespa itself was completely restored about 14 years ago, with many new parts by the Scooter Center equipped and painted by a paint shop in Ferrari red (Ferrari 300 Rosso Corsa), a short story about it can be found at Link
Axel Koch
Has been in my possession since the age of 16
It was bought in 1989 by my father's work colleague for 500 DM (200cc scooter, converted to an 80cc engine, but the engine stayed in 😂 )
Since then, everything has happened to me.
Was red when purchased and was immediately repainted in winter camouflage
Afterwards it was repainted in yellow to become a post roller (with a post horn on the cheeks), about 1 year ago.
Then came the camouflage paint job and the first frame changes in 1994.
To this day, it has been continually refined and has ultimately 29 PS on the rear wheel (and everything registered)
Several milled parts were made by me and my friend
The scooter has not seen rain for the last 25 years and has already been on the Alpendays and several meetings.
He has passed many checks by the race management on the road.

Hello dear ScooteCenter team,
My name is Franziska Biesen and I turned 3 years old three weeks ago.
Starting with the Roller-I started riding at almost two years old. I'm already too big for my Chicco scooter and I can't ride around outside with the rocking scooters...
I have been riding a Vespa for over a year and have always enjoyed attending meetings and events. I have been to your events several times.
Riding a Vespa was something I was born into. After all, my mom and dad have been in the scooter scene for 30 years and met there 26 years ago.
On Saturday you took some great photos of me and my scooter. Thank you so much for that!
I'm looking forward to attending your next event again!
Best regards,
Your Franziska
VM1T 125
I bought the Faro Basso (VM1T) from 1953 in May '22 and completely restored it. Unfortunately, the floor panel had to be re-welded in because the previous owner did not repair it professionally. The Vespa was painted in the original color Grigio 15048. Side jaws and headlights are made of aluminum. They provide a little more steam Pinasco 160cc cylinder, a Pinasco racing shaft, a 12V Pinasco Flytech ignition, a modified primary gear ratio and a CP23 Polini carburettor. It is coupled with a Cosa2 clutch. It ensures beautiful driving bgm PRO SC/R1 Sport shock absorber. The original Italian letter (blue booklet) from 1953 from the first owner is still there.

Motovespa 150S 2nd series year 64
The Spanish bike, also called Fat One, (Motovespa 150S 2nd series, built in 64 with original direct intake engine) has already been through a small odyssey and is the epitome of “good things come to those who wait”.
I bought it online in Alicante in May 2020 after Dani from Voyenvespa.com had agreed to look at the scooter on site. Picking up the scooter myself in a timely manner was not possible because of Corona. Transport by freight forwarder was never an option, however. So Dani parked the big one until I drove to Alicante with my mother in my parents' van in September 2021 to collect her. When she arrived in Cologne, she was given a nice spot in my living room - after all, she was Spanish and only used to nice weather. And there she stood for a while... She didn't get her MOT until March 1,5 and it would take almost another year until she finally had German papers (thanks to Tazz and Anes for your support). Tazz has currently installed a replacement engine with 2023cc for me and I mainly drive it when the weather is nice. The future plans are: switch back to the original engine and make it faster and see what color is hidden under the paint.

Vespa Special
The Italian Vespa Special (model year 80) is my very first Vespa and I bought it here in Germany 7 years ago. It was originally 50cc, had whitewall tires and some chrome parts, so it was very classic, and that's how I drove it at the beginning. But after a short time the 50cc was not enough for me, so I converted to 75cc. And as we all know, after a certain time even that is no longer enough and you want more. Further conversions to 102cc, 133cc, 136cc and finally to 144cc followed. I gained a lot of experience with this Vespa because I tried out all kinds of exhaust systems, carburettors and engine setups. I quickly became fascinated with the subject of Vespas and tinkering, I read up on it, got informed and eventually took the step to tinker more intensively with other Vespas and not just my own. The carburetor tuning definitely drove me to despair. I spent two years tinkering with it until I was really happy with it. Then I installed a lambda sensor and the fun started all over again. With the current engine and tuning, the Special has now done over 2 km and it is definitely my most reliable Vespa.
There are 3 things I particularly like about the Vespa:
1. The unusual color – in the light it looks very light, but in the dark it looks very dark.
2. The sun clutch. At that time there was only the bgm Super strong, but no other that could transfer so much power and yet was so easy to pull. 5 years ago I discovered the Sonne clutch in the GSF and have been completely satisfied ever since.
3. The Falk-R Ares exhaust. Its performance and workmanship were impressive across the board. Not exactly cheap, but as the saying goes: quality has its price.

Partly untouched with original paint, original engine and cylinder, I just installed a very nice, good sounding Scorpion exhaust with e-number and a larger nozzle.

My scooter is a PX80 from bj83 and was completely rebuilt in 20/21. The scooter is known to many from my build topic in the GSF. It has an MHR engine with 60mm stroke, vfoce 4 membrane, 35mm Keihin and Nordspeed exhaust. Performance was recently tight 37hp
Special features include the many self-made custom designs such as front rim, side stand, mirrors, and much more.

Piaggio Ciao, Bravo...
Piaggio Rennbravo
Actually it was supposed to be an old school project with a double carburettor (stuff still available, will come again when, because stuff from the 80s and 90s too) but then I came across a bundle with the Polini H2O and decided on it first, which is what I wanted back then already have.
In terms of spare parts, it looks pretty bad for such old stuff, for example cylinder head gasket, where I met an Italian through a Facebook group who makes his own gaskets specifically for this and still has a lot of nice things from that time.
Hoses and other little things in blue, should mentally go to Polini ☺️
The rims are also completely rebuilt, hi even wider with an Eastern moped rim, because the hub diameter is the same as the Piaggio spoke rims.
The saddle was made by the local saddler, the gold of the Piaggio lettering is the same as the gold of the rim hubs.
Not everything is old school, but I prefer the tires, brake levers and controls to be more modern.

The blue Crossbravo has already won several races and trophies. Also thanks for your tuning parts.

Veybach Racing
The Violet Pearl Ciao is Veybach Racing's own moped and actually came about by chance 😂
When considering a new project, we were inspired by the Pulverdesign Gibesch "stumbled upon" Grimeca Avio rims powder-coated in chic candy blackberry. And when looking for a suitable contrasting color, the first choice was signal white. But since that seemed too boring to us, we decided to refine it with pearl violet. Now the color gradient varies from simple white to a shiny, light violet.
Of course, numerous details were also incorporated here, such as violet anodized aluminum rosettes for all screws.
The side panels received the Veybach Racing typical pressure fasteners to ensure quick disassembly. Also typical is the lowering at the front, which significantly improves driving behavior and prevents the "annoying" rebound when braking.
To ensure that the driver sits appropriately, the original seat was covered with fine Mercedes artificial leather and provided with a color-coordinated seam.
The engine was a Polini speed engine installed, whose channels are connected to the Malossi 46.5 cylinder The crank mechanism uses the proven Mazzuchelli 002 and reliably delivers the mixture of 16 Dellorto SHA carburetors into the combustion chamber. The exhaust gases escape via the well-known Gianelli Fire.
Dirk Hövelmann
The Bravo belongs to Frank Reiff and was rebuilt by Veybach Racing on his behalf in early 2024.
To achieve a more dynamic look, the rear was shortened and an LED taillight was installed in a carbon carrier in the frame tube.
The mudguards were also significantly shortened and "gutted" so that they can fit almost "skin-tight" over the 2 3/4 -16 ContiGo.
To continue the sporty look, the original headlight was replaced with the Superbravo version, and the headlight mask was also rebuilt. The original speedometer carrier was completely removed and remodeled with carbon plates. The Runleader tachometer now fits in almost seamlessly.
Racing Blue Pearl from Ford was chosen as the colour. As a contrast, the rims and tank struts were given a Candy Red, which was Pulverdesign Gibesch was applied in top quality.
Of course, the saddle was not neglected either and received a new skin made of synthetic leather, which fits into the overall concept with its blue and black carbon look and color-coordinated seams.
In addition, numerous details were added during the renovation, which catch the eye every time you look at it.
Of course, the Bravo also received a corresponding engine. Veybach Racing installed a Malossi Reed Valve housing, to which a 46.5 Malossi cylinder was adapted. An Italkit full-circle shaft was installed in the crank drive.
The whole thing is fed via a 16 Dellorto SHA carburetor and the exhaust gases pass through a Simonini Proline back outside.

Hello
Ciao was completely powder-coated in green with effect powder from the USA, hubs, rim rings, handlebars and gears were also powder-coated in high-gloss black. The twisted spokes are custom-made, the spokes, screws and speedometer ring are 24kt gold-plated, the handles are polished brass, the plastic parts were painted high-gloss black. The saddle was covered with olive-colored perforated leather and braided leather. The engine is currently being made by Dirk (Veybach Racing).
