I've been driving scooters since 1984. I started with a Zündapp R50 (former police scooter). When I was 18, I came to the Vespa 200 Rally and two years later the first Lambretta (Lui 50). My oldest scooter is a Lambretta B from 1950, my youngest a Piaggio ZipSP with a 172 Malossi engine.
My best experiences with the scooter were the trip with the Rally 200 to Italy with 19, English meetings and custom shows in the mid-80s and 90s and every Eurolambretta. Visiting vintage car markets before the Internet age and traveling with friends to Italy and England to find scooter bargains.
