For the sixth time we have the international Scooter Center Customshow celebrated in Cologne. This time with the support of the Twisted Piston SC and with classic and automatic custom scooters. The main advantage is definitely the bearing of all three gear shafts. This minimizes friction losses and more power lands on the asphalt. The gear shafts are guided by ball and needle bearings.

In the version for the Polini and Malossi MHR racing gearboxes, the secondary bearing is designed to be even more massive and therefore more durable.
The bushing has become superfluous here thanks to the newly designed gearbox.

Another nice feature from racing is the sealing with an O-ring. This means that you can work on the gearbox quickly and cleanly. The O-ring lies in a CNC milled groove and the conventional seals are no longer required. Just like the shaft sealing rings used, the O-ring is made of Viton and is therefore the optimal and permanent solution. The sealing lip of the shaft sealing rings is even coated with Teflon to reduce friction.

The POLINI Evolution Vario lid not only impresses with its sharper look, but also with its inner values.

The coupling shaft is mounted in the Vario cover. This storage ensures additional stability. The entire rear converter unit runs much quieter. It switches more precisely and can be used over a wider range.

For assembly, the original coupling nut is simply replaced by the supplied POLINI nut. This then runs in the pre-assembled and encapsulated ball bearing of the Evo cover.

The air circulation in the engine has also been significantly optimized by POLINI. It enters cleaned through a special filter attachment and can escape through another opening. Significantly improved service lives are the result.

SEASON PREPARATION

Even after the custom show In Cologne and the unwinding in the scooter strongholds, it doesn't get boring. The new season is sure to come.

Next to the fender the side panels of the Vespa will be particularly damaged over time. As a protruding body part, they are affected by every small bump or fall. Obtaining spare parts has been difficult, especially with the old models.

REPAIR FLOOR PANEL & FRAME STRUTS

If the rottenness of the decades has spread to your Vespa and the running board is infested, our repair floor panels or frame struts are the easiest way to save a frame that was previously scrapped. But even in the event of a fall, a new running board is worth considering. Especially since you then renovated the frame from the ground up and prepared it for the coming decades.

Before the Vespa repair floor pan is used, you should get a precise overview of the damage. The best way to do this is to blast the scooter. One of the crossbars is suitable as a cutting point for removing the old sheet metal, as the base sheet is reinforced here. Then drill out the welding points and remove the old running board. It is best to blast the spar and seal it with the appropriate means. The repair floor panel can then be adjusted and finally welded in. FENDER

S&S Falc Racing exhaust

Exhaust -SCOOTER & SERVICE- Vespa V50, PV125, ET3 125, PK50-125 for FALC RACING.

The latest development from the company Scooter & Service, Smallframe Great for everyone FALC Racing cylinder.

Even with the small FALC cylinder (130ccm from 57mm bore and 51mm stroke) there is a smooth 26,7 HP on the rear wheel. The exhaust shifts the usable power band into roadworthy regions and optimally implements the potential of the kit.

The test engine achieved the performance without further processing of the cylinder or the supplied intake manifold. Only the transfer ports on the motor housing have been adjusted, and that without any welding work!

Light PK pole wheel for PX

- Lightweight fan wheel for Vespa PX -

Pole wheel -VESPA- Vespa PK XL modified for Vespa PX (1.650g)
The fan wheel is supplied ready for installation on PX motors with electronic ignition. During assembly, make sure that the correct of the two existing grooves is used. The best way to do this is to compare the position of the keyway to the customer for the pickup on your old fan wheel with the new one. We recommend flashing the ignition to be on the safe side.
The advantages of lighter fan wheels are:

  • - better acceleration
  • - higher performance
  • - more toxic throttle response
  • - less stress on the crankshaft
