There was Wolfgang aka Crazy Monkey Development again very creative: The result is a wonderful one Vespa V50 shock absorber adapter with the name " Joe Possum". The adapter for the rear shock absorber also fits the classic Vespa Smallframe-Models such as V50, 50N, PV125, ET3 ...
Why do you need a shock absorber adapter?
When you're on a Vespa Smallframe (What is a Vespa Smallframe?) drives a powerful racing exhaust, it is usually the case that the voluminous manifold of the Reso exhaust system rubs against the shock absorber. This beautiful adapter, milled from solid aluminum, moves the shock absorber attachment of the rear shock absorber in an adjustment range of 25mm to 45mm to the rear and up to 5mm to the outside.
This leeway creates enough space for powerful resonance exhaust systems whose manifolds would otherwise touch the shock absorber!
Solution: CMD Joe Possum to relocate the shock absorber
Actually much too beautiful to disappear under the frame. The noble adapter not only looks great, it also contains an integrated support on the frame and an optional second attachment point. Thus it is at least as stable as the original assembly.
Standard height approx. + 9mm, for use with standard silent block.
Adapter made of medium-strength aluminum EN AW-6082
including fastening material: oval head screw M8 as well as washers and lock washers
Of course, a powerful engine should also have a high-performance chassis, thanks to the Joe Possum there is now space for it! How about our bgm PRO shock absorber for Vespa Smallframe. They are also available in a cheap set at the front and back!
We recommend ours so that the power gets safely onto the road bgm PRO tires in the CLASSIC version up to 150km and the SPORT version up to 180km / h.

Vespa main stand - securing device for transporting the scooter in the van: CMD Raging Rhino
The Raging Rhino is a main stand rail that your Vespa Small and Largeframe (suitable for 18-24mm stand tube) secures during transport.
The function is ingeniously simple: the CMD innovation moves the pivot point of the stand feet approx. 20cm in front of the pivot point of the main stand! This prevents the main stand from automatically collapsing. With the Ragin Rhino, Crazy Monkey Development offers highly effective transport security that is extremely easy to use and transport.
Unfortunately, it didn't work out with the Red Dot Design Award - but what counts is practice. And here the completely redesigned carburetor covers from CMD have the edge.
The special thing about this ingenious Crazy Monkey Development Snakehead carburetor cover is that extremely flat design thanks to the integrated throttle cable guide. That saves a lot of space under the hood.
The integrated throttle cable guide in the rotatable snakehead lid is a stroke of genius: it not only saves a lot of space, it also works without a stop. This means that the carburetor cover is connected to the throttle cable rotate freely through 360 ° lets and thus always optimally positioned at a hunt.
The modern production from the finest technical nylon (PA) makes this noble carburetor cover almost indestructible even in extreme racing use.

The special thing about these ingenious carburetor covers is the extremely flat design, which saves a lot of space under the hood. With the Vespa Largeframe - Models, for example, prevent the carburetor from hitting the frame. Even with the Lambretta, there is not that much space to the tank or the toolbox and in the Smallframe it's tight anyway.
The lids are certainly a great benefit on any moped or scooter with a correspondingly installed carburetor:
Because that is a real stroke of genius integrated throttle cable guide without stop. This means that the rotatable carburetor cover including the throttle cable can be rotated 360 ° and is always optimally positioned. The throttle cable runs much smoother as a result.
Indestructible and easy to assemble
Each carburetor cover comes with a lot Love of racing Manufactured using the most modern production methods from the finest technical nylon (PA). The lids are Almost indestructible even in extreme racing conditions. The conversion is very easy and can be done within a few minutes.
Marco Abate from Pacemaker SC Deggendorf is very successful in scooter races at the European Scooter Challenge (ESC) and has already tested the Snakehead carburetor cover, here is his feedback on the covers:
... The guys really thought about it and developed something useful. The workmanship is top-notch ... First, take the old cover down: remove the slide, spring and sealing ring and put them back into the new cover. The seat of the sealing ring is nice and tight and worked deep enough. The slightly longer guide for the slide spring is also impressive. Here I see the advantage that the spring does not lose as much tension by slipping as with the Dell'Orto lid. You can feel it when you let go of the throttle, at least on my racing scooter. So, now the lid on and screwed tight, of course you take the ´crews´ from the old cover again. The throttle cable briefly readjusted and the first trial round turned…. First driving impression: Great ...Mark Abbot
