For the second time, the 2 hour fall race took place on 29.09.2012/11/XNUMX in Rechnitz / Austria.

As part of the endurance championship, in addition to the spring race and the endurance in Hungary, the fall race is the end of the season in the endurance class.

On Friday the Speed arena can still be trained all day.
Time enough to get to know the asphalt carpet and the new one BGM chassis set on the replacement vehicle.

Our company vehicle was once again our tried and tested PK, with which we have already contested a number of long distances.

Equipped with a Polini Evo, Straw speed aspirator, BGM crankshaft and Big bertha, we had reliable 24HP and 20Nm available for the 11h to be completed.

The only 970m long route with 16 curves, alternating fast and extremely slow sections, demanded a lot from the drivers and the material. A fact that we had to learn painfully in the later course of the race.

For the entire race weekend, the weather report had promised a lot of sun and, above all, no rain.

So after the rain trips in Hungary and Magny Cours a real treat for the season finale - we thought ...

The Saturday morning showed up with a few clouds and the anticipation to start the sunrise was very great.

After the driver and vehicle are ready to go and the filling station has been set up,

we all looked forward to the Le Mants start at 7:30.

Having started from 11th on the grid, we were able to sort our way into 3rd place in the further course of the race through a tire poker when it started to rain.

There were many exciting duels and frequent changes of position, not just in the front rows.

Unfortunately, 3 hours before the end of the race, the wear and tear thwarted our plans.

The brake pads gave up their service on the vehicle after 8 hours and had to be changed.

All in all, this stop lasted around 8 minutes, so our lead on the 4th placed Chili Racer team was gone with 5 laps and we now had to start the race to catch up in 5th place, 2 laps behind.

In spite of all attempts, the lead on the longed-for podium place was now unreachable. With a cushion of a few laps in 6th place, half an hour before the end of the race we just decided to drive home safely and without falling and finished the 11h race in 532th place after 5 laps.

Looking back, we can say it was the most exciting racing weekend and a successful end to this season.

We thank everyone who works on the organization and realization of this racing series.

Thanks to our sponsor Scooter-Center and everyone who helped us through the 2012 season.

See you on the track - 2013!

Dates for the Spring - and fall race are already certain ...

Dennis, Alex, Robert, Torsten

On days 3 and 4 we went to the surf mecca of Hossegor via Bordeaux. With the best surfing weather a successful change.

From here we went on to Spain. Then “fast” over the Pyrenees and the 1600Km would be done.

The Pyrenees were done and now it was on the home straight to Zaragoza.

2 days earlier than planned our 2 European travelers are in front of the Circuit ”Internacional de Zuera”. Now let's hope that the organizers will show up quickly ;-)

We wish our team every success in the 24h race and hope that the journey home will be just as great as the journey there.

Holiday in Hungary Vol.2 was the motto of the last weekend!

In the night of Thursday we took the 1.097 km route and arrived at the Panonia Ring after a 12-hour drive. There were already some friends to be found there and with very summery temperatures, we had the opportunity to train on the kart track on Thursdays and Fridays.

In addition to our long-distance team scooter (PK XL2 with Polini EVO cylinder), we had Alex and Dennis with us, their class 1 racer, as well as my old racer in a new look for class 2. In addition to new chassis modifications, we still had some power in the Parmakit W Force found and so I was curious how the new / old scooter can be driven.

Most of the teams / drivers arrived on Friday, the last ones on Saturday ESC runs queue up and one for Sunday 6h race was on the program!

Am Samstag
There were then 3 more training units for everyone and the championship races began at 14:00 pm!

Here it should be mentioned that in class 2 the driver Markus Angleiter (Team Stoffi) drove the fastest race lap ever and thus faster than that falc Works driver Hilton!
Overall, the lap time level was very high and even one-class scooters under a minute were driven. (For results see http://eurochallenge.de/)

On Sunday
stood that 6h race on, as the 2nd run of the long distance cup. (Consists of Springrace; Hungary and Fallrace)

Last year there was a 4h race on the kart track and this year it was increased to 6h! The temperatures were like last year - EXTREMELY hot - for man and machine!
Starting in 19th position, we were able to work our way forward and after 3 hours we were in 12th place! Unfortunately we lost the carburetor once and had to re-connect it a second time after a broken hose clamp on the carburetor rubber carburettor fix! After that he should hold and so it was a nice 10th place in the end. We shouldn't have continued to drive much longer with our front brake, because it would have lasted for a maximum of 10 minutes!

In the overall ranking
we are now in 7th place and hope in fall race for a good result.

After chilling 2 in the restaurant along the way, we had to SCOOTER CENTER The bus was then loaded again and drove towards home at 11 am on the same day.

Here then again THANKS to ALL of our sponsors !!!

With that in mind, up fall race

RUN & RACE 2011

It is really worth the trip. Both the run and the RACE feeling mix here in a unique way.

We traveled with the new updates in our luggage, like last year, with the SCOOTER - CENTER test bench to "check" the standard class scooters and to give every scooter friend who had traveled the opportunity to measure their performance.

This was used well on Friday and Saturday and luckily the weather was good throughout the weekend.

On Friday evening, bar sports were also celebrated in various classes and thus a little later for one or the other racing driver.

The next day the sun was shining predominantly except for a few drops at noon you couldn't say anything against the weather and the atmosphere was just great.

Unfortunately there were 2 more serious accidents this weekend, but as far as I know, both drivers are doing better again and it should be mentioned that these accidents were not caused by outside influences. Nevertheless, there is still a certain risk factor and because of that, I want to RESPECT the really fast guys who all swept the racetrack for less than a minute.

As in Mirecourt, we were represented in classes 1 & 2 and at the moment we are still in the middle of the field, as our cornering speeds can be improved. ;))

In this sense to Wackersdorf or Hungary

Vespa races MirecourtESC goes France

For the third time we visited our friends from scoothole (the French GSF) with whom an ESC run will be held in Mirecourt / France this year.

As usual we had it SCOOTER CENTER Test bench here and arrived at the racetrack this year even in the most wonderful weather.

Some had used the bridge day and had already arrived on Thursday in order to have enough preparation time on the track for the races on Saturday.

The event was again very well organized, the ambience wonderful and in my eyes one of the most beautiful but also a very exhausting route of the ESC.

On Saturday the sun was shining all day and luckily nothing worse happened for the rest of the day except for a violent collision.

The starting field was the largest since the ESC was founded and with around 150 starters France, Austria, Germany and the Netherlands a colorful mix to it.

Dennis drove his Polini EVO with 51 Polini rotary valve shaft & Franz exhaust.
Alex ditto with Polini EVO with 51 Mazzucelli shaft and 105 BGM connecting rod, membrane intake manifold & fire magic exhaust.
Torsten the Parmakit W Force with 54 BGM wave & Big Bertha exhaust.
All three racing scooters are with the MMW Hartz 4 coupling equipped and one Vespatronic.

We started this year for the first time in the ESC in classes 1 & 2 and were very satisfied with our results.

Fortunately, the bad weather only moved over the kart track towards evening and so we could go home on Saturday evening with a clear conscience.

Thanks again to our sponsors!
The results can be seen on the ESC page -> http://www.eurochallenge.de/ and we are looking forward to Liedolsheim (RUN & RACE)!

In this sense: you see each other / on the route

Rain battle in Austria
"DART Racing Team" takes 12th place in the 8-hour race in Austria

In St. Veit an der Glan / Carinthia, the "Spring Race" took place for the second time on the ÖAMTC test track. Since the race this year was supposed to be four weeks later than last year, we had been looking forward to pleasant spring temperatures - a mistake, as it turned out to be.

With rain and temperatures around 8 degrees, everyone started in the morning 40 registered racing teams punctually at 7.00 a.m. The interplay between wet and dry stages lasted all day. Fortunately, we had good rain tires for racing (Sava "Monsun Racing Soft"), which made driving much safer even in the wet. The four tire changes between dry and rain tires have paid off, a higher number of laps has brought us so far forward!

Smaller failures such as the vibration of plugs and the Flywheel unfortunately took us valuable time. Nevertheless, we could as third best German team with our 22 PS Polini Cast iron engine with 33 Keihin and "Franz" exhaust an very gratifying 8th place drive in!

We would like to thank our sponsors very much
