We have one based on the very popular Nisa 'Sport 20' bench Sports bench Designed for the classic Vespas in bgm design and had the bench made by the Italian bench manufacturer NISA as a bgm version. The new bgm PRO sports seat is available for Vespa Largeframe and Vespa Smallframe and is available in two versions:

Sports bench with an authentic look

The BGM Pro Sport bench has a beautiful Alfatex cover (embossed waffle pattern) on the sides and back and is also available with gray piping. The seat is also provided with a smooth cover with parallel longitudinal seams. For a waterproof surface, these are embossed, not sewn.
The appearance of the BGM Pro Sport is strongly reminiscent of the classic seat humps of the 70s and conveys a cool race flair even when the vehicle is standing.

Sports bench suitable for everyday use

In everyday practical use, it is very easy to drive despite its sporty look. The bench has a pleasantly dimensioned foam padding on which even long tours are fun. A nice feature is the completely padded hump. This offers a good grip when riding solo, but can also be used as a pillion seat if necessary.

Modern magnetic closure

Another intelligent feature is the bank's magnetic lock with an extremely powerful neodymium magnet. The bench can be opened easily with one hand, but still holds better than many classic hook fasteners. The greatest advantage of the magnet technology is that the bench rests on the mounting plate, which is supplied and is firmly screwed to the frame. The magnetic force is so high that the ignorant who try to open the bench, assume that the bench is locked.

Top quality - handmade in Italy

The bench frame is made of impact-resistant and durable ABS plastic. The cover is stapled all the way around and is therefore very securely and permanently attached (in contrast to pure gluing as is otherwise usual). The frame is provided with six rubber pads. So the load is distributed very well over the entire frame and the bench gives a very solid and full seating feeling. The bench hinge is typically very solid and solid and therefore very resilient. In addition, it is screwed and can be exchanged (in the highly unlikely event of a defect).

The SportTouring bench is manufactured exclusively for BGM PRO by a traditional bench manufacturer in Italy.
It combines all the positive qualities of one tour-friendly bench familiar with the Look of a sports bench in retro style.

The bench fits all so-called Vespa Largeframemodels. This includes the popular Vespa Vespa VBB, VBA, VNA, VNB, Super, TS, GT, GTR, Sprint, Rally 180/200, GS160, SS180. Also suitable for the PX models (all years of construction) as well as the LML Star / Stella 2-stroke models

FRAME & COVER

A powder-coated, solid metal frame serves as the basis. This follows the contours of the frame very nicely and can also be used on vehicles with a high tank (e.g. Rally, GS160, SS180). The beautiful seat cover with waffle look on the flanks and embossed quilting on the seat, together with the gray piping, offers a great, harmonious look. It also offers good slip resistance and a matt surface. The cover is not only glued but, as was common at the time, also hooked onto metal tabs in the frame.

HINGE & LATCH

The bench is attached to the frame with a solid but precise hinge. The lock is made with a powerful magnetic snapper. As a result, the seat closes securely and firmly, but can still be opened with just one hand (ideal if you just want to look into the tank for a short time without wanting to put the vehicle on the main stand).

England was the only market where Lambretta sales exceeded Vespa sales!

The main reason for this is the excellent marketing strategy of the Lambretta Concessionaires. The Lambretta's success story is in Stuart Owens book Documented extensively and in great detail via the Lambretta Concessionaires (Article No. 3332513).

The bgm Pegasus Lambretta bench is made with a lot of love by hand in Italy: The frame is pressed from metal, the upholstery is made of high-quality foam and otherwise it corresponds optically and qualitatively to the original from the 60s

We have been working very closely with Vittorio Tessera from Casa Lambretta for many years. Our cooperation is based on a friendly relationship and a love for the vehicles from Milan.

A popular and controversial question is the color of the seams on the seat covers. Would the seams have to be white or the same as the color of the seat? For this purpose, Vittorio sent us a couple of original photos from Innocenti, which show the color of the seams. Nice to see in the photo with the two Silver Specials that both end caps on the seat belt were used during production.

SCK Ancillotti for Vespa PX

 

We can speak of a classic at our bench presentations before Christmas! And this year there is something for the eyes too. We will soon be able to offer you the SCK Ancillotti seat for your Vespa PX as well.

 

 

 

 

In the same wonderful workmanship and fit as our other SCK Ancillotti benches:

Seat -SCK Ancillotti- Vespa V50, PV 125, ET3

Seat -SCK Ancillotti- Vespa Sprint, TS, GT, GTR, GL, Super, VNA, VNB, VBA, VBB

Of course, the Sprint version also fits all Vespa Rally, GS 160 (GS4) and SS 180 boxes. All you have to do is swap the tall tank for the flat version of the PX.

Here are the pictures of our first sample of the SCK Ancillotti for the PX. Thanks to Dirk E.'s help, the shape once again fits the frame perfectly. With more love, in our humble opinion, you just can't adjust that. The implementation takes place in a small Italian company, where each bench is made by hand.

New Vespa seat SS50 / SS90

From now on we have new seats for the popular Vespa SS 50 / SS 90 Super Sprint models.

These are made exclusively for us in Italy and are almost 100% the same as the original.
Unlike the previously available replicas, the Italian bench not only has the original contour, but the length is also the same as originally intended by Piaggio.
Instead of being stapled with clips, the cover is completely glued.
The opening lever is riveted instead of screwed like the original, the welt is just as slim as it was used by Vespa.
Also included in the scope of delivery are the retaining strap and a suitable cover for the luggage compartment.

New Vespa seat: SCK - Ancilotti for Smallframe

Today is December 1st - but what's coming now isn't a door, it's a really fat door that we're opening today.

In time for Christmas, the bench for all benches is also available for them Smallframe Vespa!

The SCOOTER CENTER leaves the Ancillotti for the Smallframe revive.
Dirk Elchenbroich (a good and long-time friend of the company) has optimized the fit of our original pattern and adapted it perfectly to the lines of the body.

The workmanship of this new SCK Vespa seat is as usual of high quality and probably the best there is on a scooter seat. The cover is finished with Alfatex synthetic leather on the side, white piping and a sewn seat surface.

The benches should be available before Christmas! Here are a few pictures of the racing seat as a little foretaste.

Vespa T5 seat available again

black Vespa T5 - seat in 1a - original optics.

Very neatly processed, that's it best alternative to the original T5 seat from Piaggio that we have ever seen.

The original bench has not been available for years. In parts markets, even the most finished bench seats with torn bench covers are sold at the highest prices.
