Tire warmers

Tire warmers are a constant in motor racing.
Whether Formula 1 or Moto GP - nobody can go to the preheated

The warm tires have immediate grip, but can on the circuit

The dreaded “wheelspin” is avoided in the Quatermile
and the tire bites into the asphalt.

Functionality:
Silicone-coated heating wires slowly warm the tires,
and therefore gentle, to a temperature of 175 ° F (78-84 ° C).
After approx. 30 minutes the tires have their optimal operating temperature
reached.

When this temperature is reached, the integrated electronic switches
Thermostat switches off the tire warmer and switches on the LED display
from red to green. The temperature is now held - it falls

Red and the tire is brought back to its optimal operating temperature.
