The KMT nozzles we have already presented you here in the blog. We visited Patrick in his beautiful workshop in Chiemgau. With Vespa, nozzles and pretzels, he not only gives us an insight into his workshop, but Patrick also announces some news about KMT nozzles.

KMT nozzles are manufactured with high precision in England using Swiss watchmaking tools. An enthusiastic team around engineer and scooterist Terry Barry produces the nozzles with a maximum tolerance in the range of 0.005-0.010mm. The highest value is placed on absolute reproducibility, which is why the entire machine park is subject to constant inspection and maintenance.
After the mechanical finishing, the nozzles are degreased and cleaned by ultrasound. Any contaminants such as chips and oil deposits are removed. The last step is steam degreasing and vacuum drying, followed by a blast of air to make sure that the nozzle holes are clear.
After cleaning, samples from each batch are rechecked to ensure that everything meets the desired specification.
