New rectifier for Vespa (horn rectifier) bgm PRO

Vespa rectifier bgm PRO: With the new bgm PRO horn rectifier for Vespa 12V, we finally offer you a replacement for the Piaggio horn rectifier for Vespa PX and Vespa PK, which has not been available for a long time.

Much more than just a replacement for the original rectifier!

The newly developed bgm PRO rectifiers are from now on In Stock. Here are a few highlights:

  • Horn rectifier as a replacement for the PX / PK part that is no longer available.
  • Internal shutdown as protection against short circuits
  • Integrated relay for LED indicators. (Absolutely load-independent !!)
  • USB charging output for mobile phone or navigation system
  • Made in Germany (Each part is individually checked manually and is delivered with a protocol.)

Areas of application of the horn rectifier

The rectifier works in any 12V AC environment and is not limited to Vespa and / or PX / PK. The rectifier is NOT referenced to ground. This means that the current (via the switch) can be conducted to the horn - and the mass of the horn can be placed directly on the scooter frame.

Really load-independent LED flasher relays are difficult to find. The integrated relay also works with LEDs that consume well below 1W power.

Charge your mobile phone or GPS to your Vespa

Charge your mobile phone or GPS on the go - without the annoying battery. Simply the loading output of the Rectifier to the USB charging socket (12V) and place the ground pole of the charging socket on the frame. Your end device is charged with up to 3A - this is enough for most devices for a charge from zero-> 100% in 60 minutes. (The charging function is switched off while the horn is sounding.)

Small construction - great potential for use

The bgm PRO horn rectifier is significantly smaller than the original Piaggio part or its replicas. It can therefore be easily accommodated in the case of 12V conversion conversions of older scooters. With the 12V conversion, nobody has to do without the original horn in favor of a buzz.

The bgm PRO horn rectifier at a glance

The BGM Pro horn rectifier is a high-quality replacement part for the Piaggio horn rectifier of the Vespa PK, PX, T5 and Cosa models, which is no longer in production. In addition, it has an integrated blink relay for LED blinkers and an output for USB sockets.

  • Regulated DC output for the horn (12V DC)
  • 12V USB charging output with up to 3A charging power
  • 12V flasher relay for LED indicators
  • Internal, temporary safety shutdown if more than 2A is requested at an output
  • Each rectifier is tested individually and is delivered with a test report
  • only for 12 volt alternating current (AC) on-board voltage
  • Designed and MADE in Germany

In addition to the function as a spare part, the BGM Pro horn rectifier enables the use of a horn instead of a (no longer permitted chatter = alternating current horn) on your oldie.
While driving, it offers the possibility to charge your navigation system or mobile phone very effectively. LED indicators can be connected directly to the rectifier, a conventional flasher relay is no longer required. This makes it a perfect addition to the bgm PRO Conversion wiring harness (to convert to 12V and electronic ignition for Vespa V50, PV, Sprint, Rally, VBB, etc.)

Available in three versions:

  • BGM6710KT1 - With adapter cable set for free integration into an existing cable harness including a waterproof connector set
  • BGM6710KT2 - With connector for individual cabling with direct connection to the rectifier
  • BGM6710 - Version without connector (as a replacement for BGM6710KT1 / KT2 or if a connector is already available)
