1943 - Piaggio Paperino MP5 1943
MP5 Paperino
After World War II, Enrico Piaggio was obsessed with the ingenious idea of making an affordable mass-market product that anyone could use to get around cheaply. Thereupon the engineer Spolti Renzo constructed a prototype with the designation MP5 (Moto Piaggio 5). But this vehicle was not to Enrico Piaggio's taste. That is why he commissioned Corradino D'Ascanio to revise the concept and improve it both technically and visually. But instead of optimizing the MP5, D'Ascanio put a completely new vehicle on the wheels and thus created the first Vespa
