Ten years after the first Vespa, the one millionth Vespa was sold in the Pontedera factory in 1956. The success of the Vespa exceeded all expectations. At that time there were three models on the market: 125cc, 150cc GS and 150cc GS. The Vespa 150 performed excellently and featured an aesthetic innovation as the front headlight was now placed above the steering wheel.
