The new edition of this Vespa at the beginning of the 90s was a response to the numerous inquiries from fans: the Vespa 50 Special Revival was a new edition of the model that was so popular among the young people of the 60s. This revival was valued worldwide and only 3000 copies were made in total. The model was designed for young motorcyclists who did not have the opportunity to get into the saddle of a Vespa in the 60s. This model became so legendary that it was exhibited at the renowned "Museum of Modern Art" in New York. A Vespa 50 Special Revival was donated to the Piaggio Museum “Giovanni Alberto Agnelli” by Christa Solbach, President of the International Association of Vespa Clubs.
