24h of the scooter friends Meiderich

On Saturday we were guests of the scooter friends from Duisburg Meiderich. With the best late summer weather, the event attracted around 160 Vespisti to the Ruhr area. Our journey took us from our shop in Bergheim-Glessen to Düsseldorf, where we met some scooter riders at Burgplatz in the old town Dusselvespen met to continue from there towards Duisburg. The venue was well chosen. A large meadow with enough space for scooters, tents and food.

There was also a nighter room which was also decorated in the appropriate ambience. Good music and enough drinks were well taken care of.

In the afternoon there was an excursion through the Duisburg area. Due to the number of drivers, this was a really great ride that was really fun. On the way the Rhine was crossed with a ferry, which had to drive 3 times for us to bring all the scooters to the other side. In addition, a tunnel was driven through, which was used as a location for numerous Schimanski Tatort films. A really great tour.

It was a great weekend in Duisburg and that Scooter Center Team thanks the organizers. We look forward to next year when we at Meidericher SC to be a guest again.
