1952 - Vespa 125 (V32) 1952

VEHXXX
Model: Vespa 125 (V32) Year of construction: 1952 Frame abbreviation: V32T Frame number: ?
Description:
With the V30T, Piaggio does away with the snaggy linkage gearshift in favor of the more precise cable shifter that is still in use today. The exhaust pipe, which was previously located under the luggage compartment shelf, is now positioned transversely between the swingarm arm and the rear wheel, for which the frame has been adapted accordingly. The fuel cock is no longer operated with the towing hook, but with a fuel cock lever with knob for three positions: closed(C)-open-reserve(R). The effectiveness of the rear brake is improved by a larger diameter of the brake drum. The running board is extended behind the traverse screws to make it easier for the passenger's feet to put on. The dark green saddlecloth is closed at the front, so the front saddle spring is no longer visible. 6 rubber plates are installed in the handlebar clamp for vibration damping, the headlight on the fender is taken over unchanged from the V15T, but the rear light now has a rectangular shape.
