1953 - Vespa 125U 1953

The rare Vespa Utilità

Only 7000 copies of the Vespa U were produced, making this model one of the most sought-after collector's items. In 1953 it was launched in response to the products of competitor Lambretta as the cheapest model with a price of 110 dollars; the letter U stands for “Utilità” (usefulness). For the first time, the front headlight was at the height of the handlebar and no longer mounted at the height of the fender.
