Piston update 2012 at Parmakit! The popular TSV177 cylinder kits for the PX125, Sprint Veloce and Vespa GTR with a coated piston with now only one flushing window for the support channel (Boostport). This increases the stability of the piston, so Parmakit reacts to the cracks that have occurred in some pistons, the starting point of which was at the upper flushing window.

Here the windows were only used to additionally cool the piston crown in the thermally highly stressed Polini 177. The aluminum used as the cylinder base in the Parmakit naturally ensures less temperature exposure, so the windows are not necessary here.

The pistons of which is heavier with 219gr to 185gr something, but has rather massive material thicknesses. Certainly a very interesting option if you want to go with the Parmakit on PS hunt. The cylinder and head, however, the same as the well-known cylinder kit.

The piston measures 62,92mm, so it would have a running clearance of 63 / 8mm in a cylinder with a 100mm bore. This makes it suitable as a conversion piston for other cylinders of the 177cc class. The piston is also available in other categories (A = 62,92mm / B = 62,93mm / C = 62,94mm / D = 62,95mm).
