This is the “Fat Bat” spare wheel and battery holder from CMD: Spare wheel holder for tubeless rims under the side panel, suitable for Vespa PX and identical models. The “Fat Bat” relocates and extends the mounting points for the rim nuts downwards and can possibly even be used with a resonance exhaust. With optional battery holder made of stainless steel (V2A).

Spare wheel holder and battery holder 'FAT BAT' from CMD for Vespa PX, LML Star, Stella

The stainless steel spare wheel holder replaces the original Vespa battery holder under the left side hood (if available from the factory) and allows tubeless rims to be carried as a spare wheel thanks to offset fastening points.

Driving a racing exhaust with a spare wheel

With this new CMD spare wheel holder, thanks to its optimized design, it is possible to mount a spare wheel and a resonance racing exhaust at the same time (depending on the exhaust type, please check individually).
