Scooter Tole Challenge 2012

The Scooter Center Team made its way to France. A visit to the Scootentole Challenge on the Mirecourt racetrack was planned.

With the SCK Racer and the Silver Fern in our luggage we set off towards the Nürburgring. A first stop at the 24-hour race and then went over the Belgian Ardennes towards France.

When we arrived at the racetrack, we first set up camp. You met old but also new faces and could devote yourself to the things that are close to your heart.

Thursday and Friday you could then watch the training runs in the best weather. Qualifying and the race started on Saturday. A rollercoaster of emotions but above all of the weather. Sudden showers made the race a torture for some. Finding the right setup here was certainly not easy.

A very exciting race ended well in the early evening with the following placements:
C1: 1. Uberto Parravicini, 2. Jonas Brüster, 3. Julien Desnuelle
C2S: 1. Romain Baguet, 2. Maxime Dias, 3. Martin Raube
C2L: 1. Thomas Lenkeit, 2. Steffen Biedermann, 3. Toni Fattorusso
C3: 1st Cristian Mazelli, 2nd Alberto Costa, 3rd Marco Büttner
C4: 1st Mauro Murgia, 2nd Guillaume Bordas, 3rd Jean-Luc Nobleaux

On Sunday it went back via Luxembourg to Aachen and then onwards Scooter Center. A successful weekend was drawing to a close. We are already looking forward to the next tour.
