Mark Broadhurst has incorporated his experience from several decades of Lambretta tuning and over 1.700 tuned two-stroke cylinders into the development of the RaceTour cylinders. The bgm Tuning Lambretta cylinders are available with 195ccm (65mm bore) for the small engine cases with 125-175 ccm and with 225ccm (70mm bore) for the 200ccm engine cases.

The cylinders offer significantly increased performance and thus more suitability for everyday use and driving fun.
The power is available relatively early in the rev range and the kits have enough torque to drive longer gear ratios. The power delivery is very even, so that RaceTour engines feel like an original Innocenti 200 engine but with twice the power.

Like the original cylinder, the carburetor is on the left-hand side. No changes need to be made to the frame or the add-on parts. This makes the RaceTour the ideal cylinder for everyone who doesn't want to change the look of their Lambretta, but still doesn't want to forego performance.
All required seals, stud bolts and small parts are included in the scope of delivery.
Update: Pistons now from Meteor (made in Italy) with run-in coating.

The ready-to-install clutch is designed for a power range up to approx. 8010PS / 20Nm by means of the mounted soft clutch springs (BGM25W). Reinforced springs, which are available separately, extend the performance range of the clutch to over 40 hp. The following spring types are available:

  • BGM8010W - soft (k = 4,7N / mm)
  • BGM8010L - medium (k = 6,8 / mm)
  • BGM8010F - hard (k = 13,8 / mm)

The bgm Pro Superstrong replaces the conventional coupling type used in the entire Lambretta LI vehicle family. Thus suitable for Lambretta LI, LI S, SX. TV (series 2-3), DL / GP models.

All CNC machined parts of the coupling are made of 42CrMo4.

The scope of delivery includes:

  • CNC rear sprocket with either 46 or 47 teeth
  • CNC clutch spider
  • CNC pressure plate
  • Adapter to use the pressure plate with both Li / SX and dl / GP motor cover
  • CNC machined cover plate with shoulder to ensure sufficient air between the cover plate and the kick starter shaft
  • Six clutch discs
  • Five 1.5 mm steel discs
  • Ten clutch springs, BGM8010W (k = 4,7N / mm, soft)
  • bgm PRO coupling socket

The clutch pressure plate and spider can also be used with all other five- and six-plate clutch pinions. As long as the pinions are within the Innocenti tolerances, this fits without reworking the parts. With such combinations, the protrusion of the coupling spider in particular should be checked.

 Also order the shim for spacing the coupling. This is installed under the clutch pinion and is available in thicknesses of 0,8-1,6 mm. The protrusion of the BGM hub (coupling spider) to the BGM pinion is in the tolerance range of 0,10mm to 0,12mm. A sufficiently large distance is set using thrust washers of various thicknesses. If the distance is too small, the clutch does not run freely.
