Scooterist Meltdown 2024 10th Anniversary

The first February weekend of the year is an absolute must for everyone Real Scooterist at. The Scooterist Meltdown in Kalkar is an all-inclusive weekender in a class of its own. Depending on the package you book, it ranges from five days to just one nighter or the big custom and dealer show on Saturday.

The program is designed in the best Scooterist tradition. The nighter starts on Friday at 20 p.m. and Saturday at 19 p.m. In 3 locations (Main Room, Indie Room & Ska Bar) you can dance to the finest Northern Soul, R'n'B, Ska, Reggae, Madchester & Brit Pop and alternative tunes until 3.00 a.m. You can also chill out or bowl in the hotel bar.

Live bands on both Friday and Saturday round off the program.

 

On Saturday there is traditionally the big custom and trade show during the day. And this year it completely broke the mold with 70 exhibitors from all over Europe. There has never been so much going on and we can judge it quite well, as we were able to be there with our SC stand at nine out of ten Meltdowns.

We were able to exchange the hottest news and the latest gossip in the scene with around 2.000 visitors, customers and friends throughout the day. And one thing is already certain: next year is definitely booked!

Scooterist Meltdown 2024 – 01-05.02.2024

One of the most important scooter celebrations on this side of the planet will take place in Kalkar from February 1 to 5, 2024, an event celebrating its 10th year and as usual, Scooter Center will be present with a stand and great prizes.

PROGRAM:
The tenth episode of this legendary scooterist weekender in the surreal setting of a former nuclear power plant will be very special – watch this space!
For now, here is some key info:
• 3 TOP live bands from the UK
• 3 niters, 4 floors (Traditional Scooter Sounds, Indie, Live Music Area, Ska Bar)
• International top DJs
• Large Dealers Market & Custom Show
• Horse Power Shoot out
• On-site facilities like bowling alleys, pool tables, bar mile and more!

The weekend package is sold out since month, BUT you can join the show on Saturday for the massive Trade & Customshow and / or the Nighters (without booking the hotel). All details you can find here

The International Custom Show is another highlight! It also takes place on Saturday and the best custom creation will be judged by an International Jury.

Start of the 2020 scooter season

The new season is casting its shadow. Not only are we being surprised by spring-like temperatures in large parts of Germany, the first major events are also starting soon.

The large Scooter Center ClassicDay with Customshow will already take place in sunny April: April 25, 2020 | Event on Facebook.
In spring there is also the popular Anrollern held in many cities.

After checking in, bookers of the “All Inclusive Weekend Package” Acclimatize on Friday from 15 p.m. in the underground pub street.

Bookers of the new 3-night package can enjoy the full program from Thursday 15 p.m. or, alternatively, until Monday. You can choose from sporting activities such as bowling, daddling on slot machines or one-armed snatching.

The program turns out to be the best Scooterist tradition. We start with the first from 20 p.m. Niter. You can dance to the finest Northern Soul, R'n'B, Ska, Reggae, Madchester & Brit Pop and alternative tunes here until 3.00 a.m. A long-serving DJ contingent from England, Belgium and Good old Germany will heat you up ... more about the Program here.

Second edition of the Scooterist Meltdown in Kalkar even more successful - over 1300 scooterists from all over Europe met in the fast breeder.

It is already now Scooterist Meltdown in Kalkar has become a fixed date in the calendar of international scooter drivers. More than 1.300 scooter enthusiasts met in February

in Kalkar's “Fast Breeder” - quite a few came with scooters. Fittingly, we had the Meltdown in the week before the Scooterist Meltdown Europe postage flat introduced with the Scooter Center shipped to almost all of Europe for a flat rate of only 5 euros with UPS and up to 30kg.

The former nuclear power plant has now been converted into an event location and today has bars, clubs, restaurants, exhibition halls and hotels. That too All inclusive concept is new for scooter events: You only pay a flat rate - entry, all drinks and food (and if you want, also the overnight stay) are included.

Customshow and Tradeshow highlights

In addition to the Niter on Friday and Saturday, the Trade & Custom Show is one of the highlights, and of course that was what we wanted Scooter Center not to be missed from exhibiting there.

Around 20 dealers and 50 private exhibitors from the switch scooter segment presented products and vehicles. The day event was rounded off by a supporting program and catering in solid and liquid form. We were very happy about the many personal conversations we had with old and new customers - not to mention the trophy that we received with our Generation XI Vespa - Smallframe have won. We are now looking forward to our own Scooter Customshow: Scootershow and also for the next year Scooterists Meltdown in Kalkar!
