Scooter Center Sprinter at the Nitrolympics at Hockenheim
First of all: The work on the twin has paid off: 11,937sec and 168,35 km / h, wow! That is only 0,037 seconds (!!!) behind the world record
Just in time for them Nitrolympix at the Hockenheimring on 16./17. August we have ours two cylinders be able to finish. The first time, only roughly coordinated, he was on the road at the DSSC Stage 6 Team Meeting in Rothenburg.
So in order to be able to adjust the twin something, our driver Andi and I took a quick decision to test it on a suitable route on Thursday (MZH airfield). See videos and pictures.

RH Scooter Cup
Last weekend (02nd - 03rd August 2008) Thomas, who usually drives for us at the IDSM, was at the 1st RH Scooter Cup on the go-kart track in Ramsloh!
This race is not part of the IDSM, but was very well attended by participants and spectators.

The fastest scooter in Europe was a Piaggio ZIP from the team SCOOTER CENTER, Driver Thorsten Wengeler with 159,4 km/h over a distance of 450 meters.

The Max Speed Festival was a great event!
Everyone had a lot of fun, some really stressful competition, and by the way, we were successful fastest scooter in Europe determined.
The name of our sponsor was program: GoFastSports.
With starters from Russia (1.000km journey !!!), Sweden, Belgium, Switzerland, Holland, France, England, Poland and of course Germany, the MSF was a mixed bag international event.
Also mixed because Vespa, Lambretta and automatic scooters started with each other.
As promised, top-class exhibitors in the pit lane and international VIPs were among the participants and visitors. Marc Broadhurst (MB Developments) traveled specially from England on his BMW. Sticky came to report for Scootering. Harry Barlow (Pro Porting) was without a racing scooter this time, but still in racing fever.
Maxiscoot from France presented itself with a lightning-fast 2-cylinder Sprinter. Scooter Attack surprised with one fully disguised prototypeswhich unfortunately could not be extended due to too much crosswind and a gearbox that was too long for the unexpectedly short distance.
Andreas Wrobel started with 2 Lambrettas. Darrel and Pete from SES Tuning Services from England with Lambretta and Italjet Dragster, respectively, were among the hardest-working drivers. You could see the fun of it !! read more

On the Harzring took place on 12/13. July the 9th and 10th races for the IDSM 2008 take place.
Saturday morning didn't go well for our driver Thomas, as he had to change the engine after just a few laps in free practice! The engine block on the Hebo engine had cracked. read more

The safety of the participants is very important to us. That is why there are special ones for the MSF Regulate regarding the technology and safety of the vehicles and of course there is again our obligatory technical inspection.
In cooperation with IXS, we are making leather suits available on loan for the MaxSpeed Festival free of charge. Since the copies are only available in limited numbers, they can only be borrowed for one run at a time.
