Wurstbraterei at Scooter Center Scooter parts market

Crime scene snack at Scooter Center Parts market 2019

The Vosen family's snack bar is really well known as the legendary sausage stall from the Cologne crime scene.

After each crime scene, inspectors Freddy Schenk (Dietmar Bär) and Max Ballauf (Klaus J. Behrendt) enjoy French fries and Kölsch in front of the snack bar. The "Wurstbraterei" became known throughout Germany through the crime scene.

Our customers have the sausage stand at our other events like that ClassicDay or the custom show learned to love.

We are delighted that the Vosen sausage roasting team is also helping us Scooter parts market with delicious sausage specialties and fries!

Rollers - the journey to the Scooter Center Parts market

Roll to the Scooter Center

Joint approach to Scooter Center Scooter parts market

The Flatliners SC drives to our parts store and offers that you can join. It is well known that driving together is even more fun. The club has chosen a beautiful route including a classic ferry ride across the Rhine!

Since we are planning on Saturday Scooter Center Driving the parts market, we thought ... just come along, we will collect you!
The whole thing will start in Wipperfürth and go through the Bergisches Land and then end in BM-Glessen.
A tabular list of the intermediate stations can be found below. We are also trying to run a Google-based online tool to track the current location. (The link will then be posted here)

I think most of them know the general conditions when we go on our tours. No original Fuffis, no low-performance mopets in two-man operation.
It is best to show up at the appropriate meeting point with a full tank of fuel.

The timing will go something like this:

  • 8:30 a.m. departure from Wipperfürth Ohler Wiesen
  • 8:45 a.m. crossroads
  • 9:00 a.m. Dabringhausen ARAL gas station
  • 9:15 a.m. Hilgen / old train station (Oldi Treff)
  • 9:40 a.m. Leverkusen Pattscheid (Burscheider Str./ Diepentaler Str.)
  • 10:00 a.m. Ferry station Hitdorf / Langel
  • 10:30 Scooter Center Cologne

And as always ... come up or you will cry!

(Attention, Google doesn't seem to like ferries. It should go by ferry across the Rhine.)

VVC Vintage Cruise 2019

The Vintage Cruise is entering its fifth year!

The Scooter Center supports this cool event again this year. We received the following information from Sören, the organizer, which we are happy to share:

This year we are celebrating our FIFTH anniversary with a very special vintage cruise. And I hope for myself that many more will follow. Yes, you can definitely say that the vintage cruise is turning into a special class event. Only old sheet metal and switch scooters are allowed and everything is driven.

Vintage Cruise 5 2019 Vespa

1000km, 5 days and 5 islands

In 2019, the route runs over 5 days and 5 islands (or a few more), 1000 km for every vintage cruiser is a leisurely stroll. We drive first in a westerly direction and visit our friends at the golf course, then we go to Denmark where we meet + the Vespa Club Fyn. Then a detour to Roskilde, sniff the Viking air and a visit to Peter's garage in Copenhagen. The crowning glory is the arrival at the 25th anniversary of the KELTEN RC, where we will have another big party!

And it will also be spectacular: we not only conquer the Store Belt Bridge but also let ourselves be shaken vigorously on the Fehmarn Belt.

VVC 2019 logo

We are looking forward to numerous registrations again, because this time too, “the north is supposed to rattle”. With almost 50 participants last time we made the streets in Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Meck-Pomm glow ... if they weren't already hot - because the weather was simply amazing. Mostly over 35 degrees during the day and tropical nights - you didn't need a sleeping bag or blankets ... "The heat battle of Hitzacker" has been a household word ever since.

And the pack devoured a good 60 liters of water per day (in addition to 15 liters of fuel and the usual beer or other drinks). Nevertheless, everyone was totally enthusiastic and with a little over 800 km in the rear, one flew in to the end point at the Hamburg fish market. Here we were already expected by many “people who stayed at home”, who offered us escort over the last few meters.

We hope that this year it will be such a great event with nice weather and that everyone will arrive as smoothly as possible. We look forward to every participant!

Vespaclub Regensburg - Summer Festival 2018 -

Friday, August 03, 2018 - Already early in the morning, a good 2 dozen Vespa Club members scurry like ants on the leisure island of Bad Abbach. Already at half past nine the beer benches are ready for several hundred expected visitors and one is just about to fill the refrigerated trailer with drinks.

By late afternoon, the entire area is already set up, electricity and water lines have been laid. The first dealers and guests also responded to the Vespaclub Regensburg's call to be able to arrive the day before. Traditionally we were able to welcome loyal souls like Uli from Biberach from the Vespa veterans or Leo alias Scooter Pezzi from Ludwigshafen with his dealer stand.

As in the previous years, the grill was lit in the evening and the "cozy get-together" could begin. There are persistent rumors that it was a little later before the last one came into his tent.

On Saturday morning the last traders and restaurateurs took up positions. In addition to the Jägerwirt from Siegenburg with burgers and other delicacies from the grill and the pizzeria La Pineta from Lappersdorf with fresh pizza and homemade ice cream, we also had a number of dealer stands. Particularly noteworthy here, however, are our Vespa club ladies, who provided the guests with coffee, iced coffee and cake all day and also organized breakfast on Sunday morning for all overnight guests.

Between Scooter Pezzi, Scooter Schmid and Ride on Vespa you could hear the roar of the scooters of different performance on the test bench of driving instead of screwing from Regensburg. On the other side of the area stood the Vespastore from Landshut, the scooter shop from Pfaffenberg, Hola Vespa from Holzkirchen and the Vesbar from Munich. Children could let off steam in the DEKRA Regensburg bouncy castle.

Over 500 Vespas

Over the course of the day, over 500 Vespas arrived from all directions. Visitors from the immediate vicinity who came by to look and be amazed also mingled with the "Vespa people."

The VC Regensburg was able to offer guided tours to the Liberation Hall in Kelheim and Walhalla in Donaustauf again this year, which was gratefully accepted by many.

2.000 euros for a good cause

The guests also had time to buy raffle tickets for a good cause. The beneficiary association - the vkkk Ostbayern e. V. - was represented with a booth. At the end of the day we were able to report proceeds from the ticket sale of 1800 euros, which the Vespaclub Regensburg immediately increased to 2000 euros. Last but not least, we owe this to an incredible number of sponsors and donors. The scooter shop from Pfaffenberg praised the main prize in the form of a shopping voucher worth 300 euros. A big thank you also to the Vespaclub von Deutschland eV, which provided prizes 65 and 2 with two 3-year packages. We were able to proclaim around 150 happy winners in total. A big thank you for this once again to our partners and sponsors, namely the Scootercenter Cologne who also sent a large package to giveaways for providing prizes in kind for the raffle.

REGISTRO STORICO VESPA on a visit

However, we were completely surprised by a special guest. Luigi Frisinghelli, President of the REGISTRO STORICO VESPA (http://www.registrostoricovespa.it) had mingled with the guests and looked at one or the other tuned model with suspicion. Others, on the other hand, definitely noticed an appreciative nod. In the evening Luigi did not miss the opportunity to present our 1st board member Markus Jakomet leg shield banner, pennant and plaque of the REGISTRO STORICO as a souvenir. For this a big thank you & Gracie Mille!

At 15 p.m. the time had come: the traditional parade started. Although some stayed on the field, almost 300 scooters took part in the 35-kilometer ride through the picturesque area around Bad Abbach. As in previous years, a stop was made halfway. Huge amounts of water ice, sponsored by the Vespaclub Regensburg for every parade participant, made the high temperatures of this summer day more bearable.

In the course of the evening the field cleared a little, but even at night several dozen stayed in the barzelt to party with music and possibly the one or the other burnout. As in 2017, the bar and sound system were organized by Kickbacksliders SC - all of them also members of VC Regensburg. Rumor has it that the high percentage alcohol was enough for the first time in years. A compliment to the purchasing department!

The Vespaclub Regensburg would like to thank all of its guests once again for coming - thanks to all of you we know why we like to organize this festival again every year.

Vespa meeting at Munich Airport

Event tip: Vespa meeting on July 7th, 2018

Nothing before Saturday? Our tip for scooter drivers: the 3rd Vespa meeting and Italy day at the “Bella Italia” visitor park at Munich Airport.

The Vespa meeting is organized by the Vespa Riders Landshut. Sponsored by Scooter Center.

The main thing is VESPA

VR LA (Vespa Riders Landshut) are a 'funny bunch' of enthusiastic Vespa riders. VR LA is not a club, just friends with the same love for Italian scooters. For boys and girls, it's not about the oldest or loudest scooter. Everyone is welcome who has fun on scooter trips together, regardless of the year of construction, the main thing is VESPA. :-)

Vespa in Zell am See at the Vespa Alp Days

Scooter Center | bgm | Moto Nostra at the Vespa Alp Days

The Vespa Alp Days 2018: As a sponsor and supporter of this great event, we did not miss the opportunity to be there again this year.

It started Tuesday night and Wednesday morning was that Scooter Center Stand ready for use on the market square in Zell. We had the latest products from our own brands "bgm" and "Moto Nostra" in our luggage, as well as of course the most important parts to keep the Vespisti mobile on site. Nonetheless, we organized a “parts express” for Friday that brought urgently needed spare parts from Cologne directly to Zell, so that everyone could start the Großglockner ascent on Saturday.

We were of course right in the middle of it with our bgm demonstrators - a unique experience here we have put together a few impressions of the meeting and the ascent for you:

After the three girls rocked the market square with their cover band from Friday to Saturday, the highlight of Saturday evening was the raffle for a restored one Vespa SS180 for a good cause. Of course, we also did nothing and supported the raffle with our products, including two versions of ours Vespa PX BigBoxes, the newest BGM shock absorber for the Vespa PX front with TÜV, Moto Nostra luggage rack in the passage for PX and GTS and one Moto Nostra rear light in black for the GTS with TÜV. The SS180 went to Bavaria and the winner could hardly believe her luck ;-) All winners have fun with their parts!

Tip: Vespa Alp Days

The Vespa Alp Days are our tip for every Vespa fan. Every Vespa driver should have taken part in this. Because here every Vespisti is honestly and warmly welcome, whether with an oldie or a new automatic modern Vespa. We have met many old customers who have been with us since the 90s, many who traveled on their own and were on Vespa GTS. By the way, we have our new one for all GTS fans Vespa GTS specials published - now available in 5 languages. For the classic Vespa we recommend our new one bgm tuning catalog 2018 and our new oneScooter Center Vespa PX specials.

10th Vespa Alp Days 2019

Many thanks to Franz and his team, who once again organized a wonderful Vespa meeting. We are already looking forward to the Vespa Alp Days 2019! The tithe! The last??!! The anniversary!

Vespa summer festival Regensburg

Vespaclub Regensburg Friday, August 04th 2017

A good 30 members of the Regensburg Vespa Club have gathered on the leisure island of Bad Abbach to set up the annual summer festival and Vespa meeting. The looks are skeptical upwards. Should the weather thwart our plans this year? No! That was not allowed to happen, because this year we not only want to offer a great day for all Vespa enthusiasts from near and far, but also do good. One of the highlights is to be a raffle in favor of the Hospice Association Regensburg eV and so there was no thought of bad things Weather wasted and all the more tackled.

Within a few hours there were seats, stalls, counters and the bar tent, the space was brought into shape and the driveways graveled. From late afternoon on, some traders and guests came who had answered the call to arrive the evening before and pitch their tents. They stoked up the grill and spent a nice evening together ... Rumor has it that midnight was well past.

Saturday: Sun for the Vespa meeting

Saturday greeted us early in the morning with rays of sunshine. All of our worries were blown away. Punctually, after the last dealer - many of them followed the call of the Vespa Club, they came to us from Munich and Ludwigshafen - had set up their stand, the first guests started rolling in. And as in the previous year, our reception team had all their hands to do from then on. Every scooter is greeted personally in Regensburg. By lunchtime we were able to count over 400 vehicles.

After the opening of the dealer mile and the coffee bar under the guidance of our Vespaclub girls, a guided tour to the nearby Walhalla started. One of the traditions of the Vespa club, which is praised again and again by those who have traveled further. Under the leadership of Franz Hebauer and Tobias Pilz, around 15 scooters made their way to the temple of fame Ludwig I directly on the Danube in Donaustauf.

Meanwhile the place filled up more and more. Suddenly one spotted not only license plates from the area around Regensburg, no, Swabia or Allgäu could also be seen.

We were very pleased that our comrade Renate Otto arrived, who came to us directly from Hamburg on the move.

The island was now full. Many visitors have known each other for years and are engrossed in gasoline discussions or talking shop on the dynamometer. The drinks sales were in full swing and queues formed at the food stands for burgers, grilled meat, sausage pizza and ice cream. And the little ones besieged their very own realm - the big bouncy castle right on the square.

However, the lottery ticket sales attracted a lot of attention. Thomas Porubka, Treasurer of the Vespa Club, was able to report more than 800 lottery sales until shortly before the parade.

300 scooters at the parade

But first one of the highlights: At 14:45 p.m., tour manager Joachim Meister called over the loudspeakers to set up the parade.

Under the leadership of our first board member Markus Jakomet, more than 300 visitors started their scooters and set off. Thanks to the perfect work of the Regensburg tour guides, the parade from the first to the last scooter was well over a kilometer long without accidents or breakdowns.

Halfway through the area around Bad Abbach, all participants were given water ice, which everyone gladly accepted to cool off in the bright sunshine.

After the parade returned, it got exciting. There was one last chance to stock up on tickets.

Big raffle with great prizes in the afternoon

Shortly before 17 p.m., the first board member Markus Jakomet, Vice Norbert Stingl and tour manager Joachim Meister started the draw. Exactly 1 prizes had to be drawn. But first we were able to welcome Karin Dehner from the hospice association, who thanked the VCR again for the commitment.

However, we would like to thank our sponsors directly, who immediately agreed to support the good cause with their donations.

Many thanks to that too Scooter Center Cologne for the great support!

Main prize 250 euros

It got exciting ... most of the prizes were gone. Only who should get it, the main prize of 250 euros in cash, which Raiffeisenbank Regensburg-Wenzenbach eG had generously donated.

Joachim Meister made it exciting. It was a very low number - someone who had been on the island all day. After calling the number, our Regensburg member Wolfgang Cieplik was happy about the oversized check, but he did not hesitate for a second and decided at the same moment to donate the entire profit to the hospice association as well. The thunderous applause from all the guests proved him right.

The winner of a SIP Road sports exhaust did the same for him and sold it on the spot in order to also donate the proceeds.

2.300 euros donation amount

So the Vespaclub Regensburg can raise the proud amount of 2.300 euros to the Hospice Association Regensburg e. V. and prove that Vespa drivers are good at doing good.

From this point on it was just partying, partying, partying. Immediately the bar tent was opened and the music of the SC scene echoed across the square. Because they were invited too. The direction behind the bar was taken over by the kickback slider SC Ratisbona - all of them also members of the VCR. Whether Pacemakers, Drunken Monkeys or Vespa Veterans Club. At the meeting of the Vespaclub Regensburg they celebrate together until the early hours of the morning.

Free breakfast

The traditional, free hangover breakfast was also popular.

Last but not least, we would like to say a big thank you again all of our helpers!

Without this insane bunch, nothing would work. Regardless of whether it is setting up and dismantling, serving, cake counters, reception, merchandise, guided tours, tour guides at the parade ... That's exactly the kind of people a club needs in order to function! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

GRACIE MILLE and SEE YOU IN 2018!
