The team is packed to the top, the hair is sitting, the mood is right!

The SCOOTER CENTER Team is looking forward to the largest Vespa meeting in Austria: the Austrovespa.
Meanwhile Oliver, Andi, Philipp and Robert are on their way - over 1.000 km a distance, but the way is worth it.

Well over 1.000 visitors await us at the Vespa meeting in beautiful Styria.
We have a lot Vespa parts on board - and also the official Austrovespa caps.

From Deggendorf we are complete - I get on and the five of us are looking forward to a great weekend! We hope that we will need the caps as sun protection.

1964: Thousands of young people from all over the country engage in brutal street battles in the southern English seaside resort of Brighton. The event is taking on proportions that can no longer be booked under pure hooliganism. The enemy camps consist of supporters of two different youth subcultures, the mods and the rockers.

Their conflict is about clothing, territories, musical tastes and a diametrically opposed attitude to life: The rockers expect nothing from society, which they understand as a machine to destroy their outsider individualism; the mods, on the other hand, want to help shape the system, create a space for themselves in which they can live out their codes, their preferences and their aesthetics.

The documentation reveals the background to this escalation and illustrates the desires and motivations of this radical youth. It is also told how much British youth not only overturned their parents' paradigms, but also shaped the international music scene and fashion.

S&S Falc Racing exhaust

Exhaust -SCOOTER & SERVICE- Vespa V50, PV125, ET3 125, PK50-125 for FALC RACING.

The latest development from the company Scooter & Service, Smallframe Great for everyone FALC Racing cylinder.

Even with the small FALC cylinder (130ccm from 57mm bore and 51mm stroke) there is a smooth 26,7 HP on the rear wheel. The exhaust shifts the usable power band into roadworthy regions and optimally implements the potential of the kit.

The test engine achieved the performance without further processing of the cylinder or the supplied intake manifold. Only the transfer ports on the motor housing have been adjusted, and that without any welding work!

- Lightweight fan wheel for Vespa PX -

Pole wheel -VESPA- Vespa PK XL modified for Vespa PX (1.650g)
The fan wheel is supplied ready for installation on PX motors with electronic ignition. During assembly, make sure that the correct of the two existing grooves is used. The best way to do this is to compare the position of the keyway to the customer for the pickup on your old fan wheel with the new one. We recommend flashing the ignition to be on the safe side.
The advantages of lighter fan wheels are:

  • - better acceleration
  • - higher performance
  • - more toxic throttle response
  • - less stress on the crankshaft

Dynosession PM tuning cylinder 2T Maxi

We're already on in February this place reported on the new PM cylinder. On Friday we put the new PM tuning cylinder for Piaggio Maxi engines / Gilera Runner & Co. through its paces on the test bench on a customer engine. Since you buy the License to test If you can click into the shopping cart for free, such a diagram is a great thing for the next gasoline talk.

Especially when the cylinder and engine are doing so well. Was on the test engine nothing milled. The rest of the setup consisted of one 25 PHBL carburettors with modified airbox, the original exhaust and a shaft with 'only' 52 mm stroke. Everyone in the test room was amazed that there was 23.4 PS rest on the rear wheel. With slightly lighter weights, the 24 hp mark should be easily cracked. Nice to see in the course of the torque curve in the rear speed range: diagram_1 Diagram_2

Like the Italian website http://www.moto.it/news/piaggio-torna-a-produrre-vespa-px.html reports, Piaggio is apparently taken with the success of the LML.

Will we see a new edition of the Vespa PX at Intermot? Possibly also with a 4-stroke engine?

Cologne - Milan - Gorizia - Ried - Cologne

On the ninth of July around 23 p.m. that happened Scooter Center set off to:

    • To visit Casa Lambretta,
  • to dispose of two rusted Lambretta mopeds,
  • pick up an SX 150 in Gorizia
  • and deliver a Vespa in Ried.

Cow 2.500 km later, we sat back in Cologne at 7 o'clock on Sunday morning and had a look back over the trip at a café.
