ESC season finale 2021 Harzring Aschersleben

European Scooter Challenge 2021 season finale at the Harzring

On Saturday, September 25.09.2021th, XNUMX the KR Automation ESC season finale 2021 to the Harzring in Aschersleben.

The training day

On the training day (Friday), when the sky was overcast from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m., you could keep your knee on the ground, get to know the route and improve your own lap time.

The race day

When it got light on Saturday morning, the sun was glittering on the horizon and should therefore be a dry event compared to last year (all-day shower).

Free practice started first and gave the five classes the opportunity to acclimatize. In the "one-size-fits-all" classes, which consist of two Smallframe- and one Largeframe-Class pass, the scooters must be equipped with uniform engine components to enable the same conditions and exciting duels as possible.

In qualifying the flying Frenchman Romain won the pole in the K1 ahead of Valentino. Robert won the K4 ahead of Achim.

In the K5, Felix won qualifying ahead of Thomas. In the K3 Christian in front of Marco and in the K6 Timo in front of Roman.

After lunch it was clear that it would be an exciting afternoon.

It started with the race of the K5 (unit class 133ccm Polini)in which the decision of what the championship podium would look like was still pending. Felix already had 62 points ahead of Thomas in the first race, who was again closely followed by Markus and Igor. If Felix fails, Thomas could still become champion and Igor, third place from Markus. So it went into the first race. Igor was able to move into first place after the start and led the field for the first two laps until Felix took the lead with a tight overtaking maneuver at the end of the start-finish straight and did not give it up until the end. Second was Thomas and third Igor.

It was especially exciting again in the big one Smallframe-Unit class, the K4that was launched together with the K1.

The K1 and K4 Drivers offered an exciting race that unfortunately ended with a highsider for Romain and the race had to be stopped as a result. After the restart, Ulf was able to prevail and thus also win the day for the K1. In the K4, Robert was the first to cross the line in every run, making his day's victory perfect.

As a conclusion followed a 45 min endurance racewhich only K5 vehicles were allowed to be used, and two drivers each were drawn as a pairing. The driver could be changed after 15 minutes. A total of 12 drivers took to the start, some of them gripping duels. Robert was able to achieve the fastest K5 lap time of the day with a 1,02.634 in a thrilling three-way battle (Robert, Valentino, Felix). This new edition was ultimately won by the Valentino and Kuba team.

ESC RESIN RING 2020

We are sponsor of the ESC - European Scooter Challenge.
On 25.-26. September invited the KR Automation Season finale 2020 to the Harz-Ring in Aschersleben.

.

The training day

On the day of the training (Friday), you could train in bright sunshine and the whole day there was the opportunity to get to know the track or to improve your own lap time.

The race day

When it got light on Saturday morning, it was already wet and cold (12 degrees C.). After the heated battle in Cheb, a complete contrast program. The drivers' meeting took place under the newly designed canopy, where it started raining and didn't want to stop all day. Free practice started first and gave the five classes the opportunity to adapt to the general conditions. In the "one-size-fits-all" classes, which consist of two Smallframe- and one Largeframe-Class exist in which the scooters must be equipped with uniform engine components in order to enable the same conditions and exciting duels as possible.

It was especially exciting again in the big one Smallframe-Unit class, the K4.

Albert H. from the G16 racing team was the fastest man in the rain and was in first place ahead of Achim. Both gave everything and unfortunately fell. Achim's racing Vespa almost found itself in the men's toilet after the fall. After pulling his scooter out of the china again, he was able to finish the race in fourth place. In races 1 and 4 Robert fought hard with Albert and sometimes there was more water to be seen than the driver. Shoulder to shoulder through the wet curves! With the better end for Robert, and with it the championship in class K2.

In the K5 it was no less exciting:

Background: Valentino in first place in the championship standings in the K1 class, followed by Felix (-5 points) and Moody (-15). Three runs with 48 points each for the winner are still to be run.

Start run 1: After a great start, Valentino led the pack into the first corner, but had to let a strong Moody pass in the second corner. From the 2rd corner Moody slowly pulled away, followed by Valentino, Sebastian N., Christian K. etc. Felix didn’t really get going and had to fight some space fights in midfield, which made the train inaccessible for him made. Moody pulled away until the 3th lap, but then Valentino increased the pace and slowly but steadily caught up. (Meanwhile about three seconds between Moody and Valentino). Moody wanted to increase his pace again, but this led to a fall and threw him back to P5. Valentino took the lead, followed by Sebastian N. with a gap of about a second and was the first to bring it safely to the checkered flag. P6 for Sebastian, P2 for Christian K .. Moody had to give up completely one lap after the fall due to a technical ignition defect. Felix did not get beyond a 3 place. With this finish, Junior could no longer be ousted from P6 in the championship standings.

Run 2:  After another bombshell start, this time from pole, Valentino did not give up this lead until the finish line. Again closely followed by Sebastian, who couldn't catch up as close as in the first run. This time the gap was almost 1 seconds. Again in 2rd place followed Christian K. Moody could no longer show the speed of the 3st run and training and landed on P1, Felix on P6.

Run 3:  Seemed almost a bit boring, but the same as race 2, great start, another start-finish victory for Valle. It should be mentioned that a) Sebastian got off badly at the start this time, was involved in tough duels and had to put up with an 8th place. Moody also struggled and ended up on P5, which cost him 3rd place in the championship standings with the failure in the first run. And who will move up to P3 in the championship? Albert, who crossed the finish line in race 1 on P7 and race 2 on P5, and secretly secured the final podium in the championship with a hard-fought P3 in run 3.

At the end there was a 40min endurance race, in which only K5 vehicles were allowed to be used, and 2 drivers each (pairing was drawn). After 15 minutes the driver could be changed. The Achim and Valentino team won this new edition.

Big VRA Cup Final 2019 in Jesolo

The Scooter Center / bgm sponsors the Vespa Racing Austia Cup. In sensational, late summer weather, the grand finale of the VRA Cup 2019, on the beautiful Pista Azzurra in Jesolo, on the northern Adriatic Sea. The track, which was built in 1962, has a decades-old racing tradition and has seen many championship and world championship decisions. Therefore, it was an extreme honor for us to be able to host our Cup Final 2019 on this traditional floor.

The last two races of this season were also on Excitement can hardly be surpassed.

Final after a long season

After a long season, Christian Rapf from the & is Racing Team had traveled 12 points behind the Italian Parmakit works driver Paolo Birtele to the Cup final in Jesolo - Italy and nobody expected that he would win the 2019 season crown for the young Italian in the Scooter GP class could still dispute. After a lightning start in the first run, Christian Rapf was able to keep the lead for a few laps, whereby the two drivers were in a league of their own. However, Birtele was able to take advantage of a tiny inattention on the part of the Upper Austrian, and thus in the end again scored 25 points for himself. At 15 p.m., the 00th and last race of the Scooter GP class was on the program. The points deficit had increased to 10 points due to the victory in the first run and the fastest qualifying time of Birtele, but the number 18 started the showdown on the Pista Azzurra with maximum motivation. After another great start, Christian Rapf did not give up the lead for 241 laps …… ..and then …… yes then he was rewarded with the luck of the capable, because Birtele could not finish the race with a technical defect. With a little luck, but thanks to extremely consistent performance, the 5 championship title went well-deserved to Christian Rapf from the & is Racing Team, for which the Vespa Racing Austria event team would like to congratulate them warmly.

After the title in the Marken Cup of our main sponsor PARMAKIT in 2018, which was still very close to Christoph STOFFI Maier in Upper Austria, the big cup final in 2019 finally happened and Kevin Höfler from the SFR team won the championship with a total of 6 race wins and 32 points ahead, decide for yourself. Christoph Maier from the Stoffi's Garage team and Maiko Jandl from the JLP team follow on the seats. With up to 20 starters from Austria, Italy and Hungary, the TROFEO PARMAKIT CHALLENGER 2019 was by far the strongest class in the VRA Cup and thanks to the extremely balanced engine performance, the most exciting duels took place here, regardless of whether it was about victory, the midfield or the end of the field goes. In this class, the focus is simply on driving skills!

Scooter GP Ltd. class

In the 2019 Scooter GP Ltd. Herbert Siegl secured his place on the top step of the podium, second place went to Günter Sedlacek, followed by Julian Köllner.

Street racer class

The championship of the street racer class again went to Christian Fleis, followed by Christoph Carniel and Hubert Leitgeb on the places.

Last but not least, apart from our main sponsor Parmakit, we would especially like to say a big thank you to the Beer, Fix it Easy and Michelin nursing home. We would also like to thank BGM, Egig Performance, AF Parts, KyTronic, Castrol and Faber! Despite the steadily growing field of starters, it would not be possible to run a racing series of this size without the support of our partners.

Final - RH-Scooter Cup 2010 at the Harzring

Last weekend the final took place on RH-Scooter Cup 2010 on the Harzring instead.

Since the run at the Intermot in Cologne was canceled at short notice, I came to the Harzring with a 35 point lead as the table leader. Unfortunately, the last time I was out there 3 weeks ago Variomatik and the converter broke so I had to use a different one for this race. I didn't manage to set up the training so well in the short period of time, and that's why I was there Place 3 fully satisfied in qualifying.
The two races in the afternoon were almost the same for me. After a modest start (6th place each after the first lap), I was able to gradually overtake my competition and open both races Place 2 break up!
In the evening there was a humid final party with a championship ceremony that went well into the morning.
This race was the last of the year after a long season.

With a total of 2 victories and 4 second placesn in the 2 / 70ccm class this year I have the Won the 2010 RH-Scooter Cup.

During the IDSM/EST I was able to celebrate some successes in 2010:

  1. With 2nd place in Dahlem,
  2. 3rd place on the Sachsenring
  3. and various 4 and 5 places
  4. I reached the 7th place in the annual ranking. (here I was only able to take part in 6 out of 8 events)

Finally, I would like to thank all sponsors and helpers. I especially want to be with the Scooter Center thank you for the great support! Without your help, these results would not have been possible. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Your
Thomas Heck
