MOTO NOSTA LED HEADLIGHT!

LED headlights with E9 marking (street legal) and bright high / low beam. An additional feature is a separately switchable position light. With a diameter of 143mm it also fits perfectly into the steering head of the PX and Cosa models as well as into the lamp ring of e.g. Vespa Sprint, GTR and Rally.

Chapter 3 - She's alive! - Vespa Platónika PX bgm 177

As in Mary Shelley's famous story (Frankenstein), also rolls the dice Maryzabel Pieces of different origins together to - hopefully - bring a legend to life.

A central part of Platonica is the LML frame set. A set consisting of all sheet metal parts of the Vespa PX and directly painted. Sets that are unfortunately only available in limited numbers, as LML has unfortunately no longer existed since 2018.

But back to the Platónika plot: One of our LML frame sets replaces the old and rusty Vespa frame, whose soul it takes over when the old frame number is hammered in.

The inner values ​​of Platónika are mainly determined by the bgm PRO Share determined. For example from the most recent evolutionary stage of the bgm PRO ignition stator plates. The completely redesigned stator features small details such as a degree scale for easier and faster setting of the pre-ignition value or the silicone cables, which are more durable, easier to lay and significantly more temperature-resistant.

Let there be light!

A highlight of the electrical system is definitely the powerful one LED headlights from Moto Nostra. Compared to the conventional BA20d bulb with 35 watts, it impresses with its three times higher luminosity (1300 lumens instead of 400 lumens) with a consumption of only 20 watts.

 

It took some time to breathe life into the electrics, which have been converted to direct current. Seven months to be precise, during which Mr. Stroh and I - his faithful assistant - used our rather limited free time to get everything sorted.

The faro anteriore MOTO NOSTRA dalla luce intensa a LED è un articolo per il tuning, omologato e di altissima qualità.
Fino a pochi anni fa la luce chiarissima e bianca era una characteristica esclusiva delle grandi marche come Audi, BMW e Mercedes. La loro technology a xenon è stata poi gradualmente sostituita dalla tecnologia LED, semplice, moderna e flessibile.

Il faro a LED presenta un'intensità luminosa tre volte superiore (1.300 lumens) mentre il consumo è di soli 20 watt. La luminosità corrisponde a quella di un comune faro da 100 watt.
Utilizzando lo statore / l'alimentazione di cui dispone il veicolo si ottiene quindi una luminosità decisamente migliore senza un elevato consumo di energia che rimane quindi a disposizione per ulterori funzioni.

L'anello nero in plastica funge da cornice intorno al faro e come regolatore dell'inclinazione del faro. I supporti lavorati al laser garantiscono un fissaggio sicuro ai fori originali presenti nel manubrio.

The kit dei supporti con il faro è compatibile con tutti i models Vespa PX dal 1977 fino ad oggi.

WARNING: il faro richiede alimentazione a corrente continua (DC) da 12 volt (batteria per veicolo) e non può essere collegato all'impianto elettrico a corrente alternata (AC) presente di serie sui modelli PX.

Install LED headlights on Vespa PX

The extremely bright MOTO NOSTRA LED headlight is legal light tuning at the highest level.
Just a few years ago, the very bright and white light was an exclusive trademark of Audi, BMW and Mercedes.
Their expensive and aging-prone xenon technology was successively replaced by the more uncomplicated, modern and flexible LED technology.

The enormous leap in technology in lighting technology is now finally benefiting two-wheelers. If a cleaning system for the lens was mandatory for the xenon burners, this is not necessary due to the different measurement method used for LED headlights.
An E-approved LED headlight can legally replace a conventional motorcycle or scooter headlight.

To ours Ø143mm high power LED headlights from MOTO NOSTRA to be able to use the Vespa PX models, which are still extremely popular in everyday life, there is now one, also from MOTO NOSTRA Adapter ring including retaining kit. This means that the headlight can be mounted in the steering head like a series headlight.

Mounting LED headlight on Vespa PX / P / PE

The extremely bright MOTO NOSTRA LED headlight is a legal and top-quality tuning headlight.
Some years ago the very bright and white light was an exclusive feature of Audi, BMW and Mercedes. Their expensive xenon technology was gradually replaced by the modern and flexible LED technology. This significant innovation in the lighting technology now also benefits scooter riders.
The LED headlight with E-mark can now legally replace a common motorcycle or scooter headlight.

In order to use ours Ø143mm High Power LED headlight by MOTO NOSTRA on the Vespa PX models, nowadays still so much loved, we have developed an adapter ring with brackets, i.e. a MOTO NOSTRA item.

Thanks to this adapter the headlight can be mounted on the handlebar head like a standard headlight.

The LED headlight features an over three times brighter light output (1,300 lumens). The power consumption is only 20 watts.
