Small but OHO!

Only 2 years old and already a fully grown custom scooter! Because our GENERATION XI will no longer grow: the size depends on the design - it's a Vespa Smallframe (Vespa Primavera ET3) and they are just a bit smaller ;-)

Modern, powerful exhaust systems and cylinders usually also have a corresponding outlet flange diameter. These diameters can no longer be adequately covered with the standard seals.

Superstrong - Extremely high performance

The clutch hub as well as the cover and thrust washer are made 42CrMo4 manufactured. The force is from bgm Racing red clutch plates transfer. Due to the number of springs and the arrangement on the largest possible extent, a very even pressure behavior is achieved. This effectively prevents the two pressure disks from tilting or locking.

Thanks to the perfect coordination of spring stiffness and number, paired with the stiff design of the pressure plates, the clutch can be operated easily even with a PK-XL1 clutch cover.
The contact pressure of the bgm Pro XL springs and the coefficient of friction of the Racing red pads have a Test in our X-Mas duel already withstood the 30PS.

Highly stable & well thought-out coupling hub

The clutch hub is designed for a primary with a shock absorber and has an M28x1 internal thread for pulling off. (The extractors of the Vespa fan wheels with electronic ignition fit there.) Thanks to the internal thread, the area around the cone could be made much more massive. The more stable design without the senseless weakening by an unnecessary keyway makes the hub the first choice for every load. We recommend our for assembly Coupling nut and threadlocking. 2 sizes available

The Polini Vespa Polini CP carburetor is available in 19mm and 21mm. The carburetor fits on every 19 mm intake manifold and comes complete with a new throttle cable and air box (air filter). The Polini Vespa carburetor replaces the original Vespa carburetor of yours Smallframe.

Easy construction

The assembly should be very easy and possible without modifications to the original 19mm intake manifold.

The CP Polini have a plug connection and were specially developed for the legendary Vespa 125 Primavera ET3. Like the original carburetor of the Vespa 125, the Polini CP has a plug connection between the intake manifold and the carburetor. Delivery includes an airbox with a higher air flow rate. Available with 19mm and 21mm opening.

High quality

While the concentric layout of the extremely short intake section guarantees an ideal air flow, the mixture (regardless of the position of the throttle valve) can optimally flow into the mixing tube at any time. The inlet hole for the fuel supply and the larger float needle valve always supply the Polini Vespa carburettor with a sufficient amount of fuel, even under extreme conditions. In order to ensure that the standard is always the same, the exact float level and the functionality of the float needle are checked very carefully during production.

Easy adjustment of the carburetor

The high manufacturing quality and accuracy of these details then makes this noticeably easier Adjusting the carburetor. The flow properties as well as the selection of the main and auxiliary nozzles have been optimized in the direction of maximum power output with lower consumption. The compact dimensions of the new carburetor require optimal use of the limited interior space, as well as maximum efficiency of the built-in individual components, which are strictly controlled down to a thousandth.

We would like to introduce some features to you here.

From the outside, the first thing you notice is the mount for a mechanical water pump to mount water-cooled cylinders.
If you use the classic forced air cooling, an aluminum plug is also included in the scope of delivery to meaningfully close the bore of the pump.

The area around the overflow ducts and the cylinder base is much more massive. Broken housings at this point due to a larger spindle dimension should be a thing of the past.
From Quattrini, the cylinder base is already spindled to a 64,8mm diameter 17,5mm deep.
Below this is an area up to 21mm deep, which is spindled to match the original cylinder base diameter.

In the area of ​​the swing arm, the motor housing is offset without any problems 3.50 × 10 tires can be mounted.

In order to compensate for the weakening of the traverse caused by the heel, it was reinforced from the inside with 4 massive ribs.

The two halves of the housing are connected with 2 centering pins and M6 screws, so there is no need to handle separate nuts. Due to the cast membrane box and the lack of centering on the crankcase, there is also no need for a housing seal made of paper. As is common today, the engine is simply put together with sealing compound. We recommend based on experience Dirko HT.

In the delivery state, the housing is designed for cylinders with direct suction. For all friends of the case-sucked power dispenser, a membrane box is cast on the Quattrini case.
If necessary, the connection to the crankcase must be milled out in-house.

Unfortunately it is not yet clear which membrane should be used here.
So we have already worked on a solution for one RD350 and V-Force³ Adapt membrane.

In the area of ​​the circuit, Quattrini stays with the tried and tested 2-pull mechanism.

The heart of the entire new design is the 48mm widened crankshaft with 51mm stroke.
This measure ensures that the press size of the connecting rod pin is increased significantly
and the crankshaft leaves nothing to be desired in terms of anti-twist protection.
The high-quality 102mm connecting rod, guided in bearings with a silver cage, rounds off the overall impression. The dimension of the center of the crankshaft bearing and the cylinder base sealing surface is 69mm and is therefore intended for use with the 102mm connecting rod.

Both sides are used as crankshaft bearings 6304TN9C4 is used.
It would also be conceivable to mount a NU205 on the alternator side, however, due to the inertia of the bearing caused by the large rolling elements, we advise against it for ambitious sporty use.

The crankshaft housing is sealed on the alternator and primary side (!) With shaft sealing rings that are accessible from the outside.
With the dimensions 20x35x7 we can offer you this in proven FPM quality .
The shaft seal seats are manufactured with an inner stop. It is therefore practically impossible to mount the shaft sealing rings too deep.

Depending on which one ignition is used on the engine, a hole has to be drilled in the alternator housing for the exit of the cables.

The air duct has already been modified for the use of race exhaust systems.
