The Scooter Center as is well known, has 2 bosses. Both are with Vespa and Lambretta grew up and have meanwhile well over 30 years of experience.

If you lure them both out of their reserves, you can find out that Oliver's heart beats more for Vespa and Ulf's more for Lambretta. This balances out again and we have a great balance in the management. If you then take a closer look, you can certify that Ulf has a little Lambretta-Lui fetish.

Where does the Pegasus seat originally come from?
The UK market was the only market where the Lambretta sales hit the Vespa sales easily.

The main reason for that is the excellent strategy the Lambretta Concessionaires had for bringing the Lambretta to the market. To get a picture of the full story Stuart Owen's book about the Concessionaires (SC item number 3332513) is the best reference point.

The bgm Pegasus Lambretta seat is handmade with love in Italy. The seat has a base made of stamped metal and a high quality upholstery made of foam. Visually and qualitatively this seat looks like it did originally in the 60s.

The base is painted in Innocenti color code 8082 and the aluminum surrounding is full circle on it. The cherry on the cake is the Lambretta Pegasus rear badge.

Where does the Pegasus bench come from?
England was the only market where Lambretta sales exceeded Vespa sales!

The main reason for this is the excellent marketing strategy of the Lambretta Concessionaires. The Lambretta's success story is in Stuart Owens book Documented extensively and in great detail via the Lambretta Concessionaires (Article No. 3332513).

The bgm Pegasus Lambretta bench is made with a lot of love by hand in Italy: The frame is pressed from metal, the upholstery is made of high-quality foam and otherwise it corresponds optically and qualitatively to the original from the 60s

From strength to strength!

We have revised our crankshfts for Lambretta. We worked with the manufacturer for almost three years and we are very satisfied with the results. The testing lasted as long as the development work.

The new crankshafts for Lambretta are available with 58 mm and 60 mm stroke and 107 mm, 110 mm and 115 mm conrod:

Darren Conneely of the Team Replay successfully tested the bgm PRO Competition crankshafts during the BSSO competition of the season 2018. Paul “Chalkie” White of the Team replay mounted on the Lambretta Group 4 the cylinder bgm RT 195 and the new crankshaft bgm PRO Competition. With a power of over 30 HP on the rear wheel and up to 11,000 rev / min that was a real endurance test.

And while we intensively tested these crankshafts on the road, Darren, with our crankshaft, took the second place in the Group 4. Congratulations!

  • Reduced engine vibration thanks to fully balancing with hidden pockets, copper and tungsten balance weights
  • Lubrication of the lower conrod bearing via two large lubrication slots
  • Stroke pin diameter 22 mm

 

15 years experience in crankshaft development

there is 15 years of experience with building our Lambretta cranks. The development of this new and massively improved type has taken another three years of development work and tests to realize a shaft that offers maximum anti-twisting stability.

Team Replay used a selection of bgm parts during the BSSO race Series in 2018. Replay's rider Darren Conneely finished the season in Group 4 on a 2nd overall using the new crank.

Abbiamo migliorato i nostri alberi motore per Lambretta. Il lavoro con il nostro costruttore è durato quasi tre anni e siamo molto soddisfatti del risultato. I test Hanno la stessa durata del lavoro di progettazione.

15 years of experience in the development of the Alberi engines

Gli alberi motore bgm PRO Competition sono il resultato di un total di 15 anni di esperienza, più other tre anni di lavoro di progettazione e test per poter migliorarli ed offer degli alberi motore in grado di garantire la massive stability and resistance to deformation.

The team replay si è servito di numerosi componenti bgm per le competizioni inglesi BSSO del 2018, tra cui also il nuovo albero motore bgm. Darren Conneely is aggiudicato il secondo posto del Gruppo 4.

CASA LAMBRETTA - IL MUSEO SCOOTER & LAMBRETTA

Al piano superiore dell'azienda Casa Lambretta si trova il Museo Scooter & Lambretta. In an edificio sobrio Vittorio Tessera è riuscito a mettere su una collection di scooter unica nel suo genere, sia per quantity by quality.

Fondato nel 2001 in collaborazione con il comune di Rodano, il museo, allora ancora nella sua sede originaria, fu inserito nel 2004 nel Circuito Musei di Impresa della Provincia di Milano “Milano Città del Progetto” e dal 2010 è nell'attuale sede.

I MODELS IN ESPOSITION

Around 160 models in esposizione che documentano in modo esemplare la storia dello scooter. I primi scooter furono costruiti prima della seconda guerra mondiale, mentre i models più “recenti” risalgono agli anni '70. Oltre alle marche italiane Vittorio ha anche esposto scooter di costruttori provenienti da Inghilterra, Germania, Austria, Spagna, Stati Uniti, Russia, Francia, Giappone, Belgio, Repubblica Ceca e Svizzera.

Nelle prime delle cinque sale ci sono circa dieci Vespe dal V98 ai modelli più recenti. Proseguendo verso le altre sale possiamo ammirare tre scooter Belmondo risalenti agli anni '40, probabilmente ciò che ispirò la realizzazione del Paperino della Piaggio.

Nelle sale 2 e 3 ci sono i diversi scooter categorizzati secondo anno di costruzione e paese di produione. Lo stato dei models esposti è impeccabile, da restauri perfetti, scooter appena trovati in un granaio a models perfettamente conservati o quasi nuovi nel loro stato originale. Qui c'è praticamente di tutto. Tra i modelli più rari abbiamo la Honda Juno K (il primo scooter della Honda risalente al 1954), il Nibbio costruito in Lombardia in 1947, il Bastert e anche l'Auto-Fauteuil (il primo esemplare di scooter del 1908).

LA COLLECTION LAMBRETTA

The cuore della collezione è rappresentato dalle due sale dedicate alla Lambretta. From 1947 to 1971, nella vicina fabbrica a Lambrate, la Innocenti costruì più di quattro milioni di Lambrette. Se si aggiungono anche i modelli costruiti su licenza e provenienti da India, Spagna, Germania, Francia, Asia e America Latina, la Lambretta, con i suoi modelli derivati, rappresenta uno degli scooter più diffusi su scala mondiale.

Grazie alla sua passione decennale, Vittorio è riuscito a creare una collezione unica di esemplari della Lambretta: dai primi, più noti modelli A con numero telaio 2, dal modello FB cassonato a 3 ruote del 1949 fino a due Lambrette series 2 con per verniciatura originale i giochi olimpici tenutisi a Roma nel 1960, il modello TV 175 serie 3 completamente dorato per l'attrice Jane Mansfield fino alle diverse Lambrette di colore giallo con quadrifoglio riservate alla famiglia Innocenti.

Particolarmente interestingi sono i prototipi ei pezzi unici che, senza l'intervento di Vittorio avvenuto per tempo, sarebbero andati perduti.

Casa Lambretta si trova a Rodano, una comune della città metropolitana di Milano. Non molto distante dall'aeroporto di Linate ea about 15 minutes from Centro Studi e dalla ex fabbrica della Innocenti di Lambrate.

Il museo e Casa Lambretta distano about 11 km from the centro di Milano, facilmente raggiungibili in auto. Se si viaggia in taxi il costo è about 30 euros.

CASA LAMBRETTA - SCOOTER & LAMBRETTA MUSEUM

Above the head offices of Casa Lambretta we have the Museo Scooter & Lambretta. In a plain building Vittorio has managed to create an exhibition which is unique for the quality and quantity of the scooters on display.

Founded in 2001 in its original location with the support of the city of Rodano, the museum was included in the provincial museum system Milano Citta del Progetto in 2004 and since 2010 it is hosted in its present location.

THE MODELS ON DISPLAY

Around 160 exhibits exemplify document the history of the scooter. The first models were built before the Second World War, whereas the latest exhibits date back to the 70s. Besides the Italian models, Vittorio has also collected scooters produced by manufacturers from England, Germany, Austria, Spain, USA, Russia, France, Japan, Belgium, Czech Republic and Switzerland.

In the first of the five exhibition halls there are about ten Vespas from the V98 models onwards. When moving to the other halls, we pass by three Belmondo scooters from the 40s, probably what inspired Piaggio to design the Paperino.

In the halls 2 and 3 the different scooters are grouped according to year and country of manufacture. The exhibition is just impressive: from perfect restorations, scooters found in a barn and in preserved state, to new vehicles in original condition, here you can just find everything. Among the rarest models we have the Honda Juno K (Honda's first scooter dating back to 1954, the Nibbio, built in Lombardy in 1947, the Bastert monotrace or also the Auto-Fauteuil (the first scooter model dating back to 1908).

THE LAMBRETTA COLLECTION

The heart of the collection is represented by the Lambretta models displayed in the further two halls. From 1947 to 1971 Innocenti built over four million of Lambretta scooters in the nearby factory at Lambrate. If you also add the licensed production from India, Spain, Germany, France, Asia and South America, the Lambretta represents one of the most produced scooters worldwide.

Thanks to his decade long passion Vittorio was able to raise a unique collection of Lambretta scooters: from the first, widely known models A with chassis number 2, to the three wheel FB Lambretta with box casing dating back to 1949, two Lambrettas series 2 with genuine paint for the Olympic games which took place in Rome in 1960, the completely gold -plated TV 175 series 3 for the actress Jane Mansfield, to different Lambrettas painted in yellow and with a four-leaf clover, reserved for the Innocenti family.

The absolute highlight are the prototypes and one-off models which would probably not have survived if Vittorio had not rescued them in time.

HOW TO REACH US

Casa Lambretta is situated in Rodano, in the province of Milan. Not far away from the Linate airport and about 15 minutes from the Centro Studi and the former Innocenti factory in Lambrate.
The city center of Milan is 11km from the museum and Casa Lambretta, therefore easy to reach by car. If you travel by taxi it costs about 30 euros.

Entry to the museum is free of charge.

CASA LAMBRETTA – THE MUSEO SCOOTERS & LAMBRETTA

This is located above the business premises of Casa Lambretta Museum Scooters & Lambretta. In an inconspicuous building with an exposed aggregate concrete finish, Vittorio Tessera has created a collection that is unique in terms of the quantity and, above all, the quality of the scooters on display.

Established in its original location in 2001 with the support of the city of Rodano, the museum was added to the provincial museum system in 2004 Milano Citta del Progetto and has been at its current location since 2010.

THE EXHIBITS

The around 160 exhibits document the history of scooter construction. The oldest scooters were built before World War II, the youngest exhibits are from the 1970s. In addition to the Italian brands, Vittorio has brought together scooters from manufacturers from: England, Germany, Austria, Spain, USA, Russia, France, Japan, Belgium, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.

In the first of the five exhibition halls there is a selection of around ten Vespas from the V98 to later models. On the way to the other rooms, we pass three Belmondo scooters from the 1940s. The presumed inspiration for Piaggio to develop the Paperino.

In halls two and three, the various scooters are grouped according to year of construction and country of manufacture. THE LAMBRETTA COLLECTION

The heart of the collection are the two other halls with the Lambrettas. From 1947 to 1971 Innocenti built more than four million Lambrettas at the nearby Lambrate plant. If you add up the license builds from India, Spain, Germany, France, Asia and South America, the Lambretta with its derivatives is one of the most popular two-wheelers in the world.

Thanks to his decades-long obsession, Vittorio has amassed a unique collection of Lambrettas: From the oldest, known Lambretta, the m (A) model with chassis number 2, the FB tricycle from 1949 with an ice cream superstructure, to currently two Series 2 Lambrettas with original paintwork for the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, the completely gold-plated TV 175 Series 3 for actress Jane Mansfield to various lambrettas in the yellow paintwork with four-leaf clover, which was reserved for the Innocenti family themselves.

Darren Conneely from Team Replay successfully used the new bgm PRO Competition crankshaft in BSSO races in the 2018 season. The Lambretta Group 4 Racer with one bgm RT 195 cylinder Kit and the new bgm PRO Competition shaft was made by Paul “Chalkie” White from Team replay built.
