Easy construction
Vespa PX 200, V50, PV125 ET3, PK
Have inserted rubbers. Remove the old rubbers from the housing (lever out).
Push the new BGM PRO rubbers back into the housing with a little talcum powder.
Vespa PX80-150, Sprint, VBB, etc.
These models use rubber pressed ex works.
Drill / flex off the caulked axle ends here. Remove the tube and rubbers from the housing.

Real innovation
It's just a small thing, but ingenious: the bgm PRO main stand with Soft Stop System puts an end to the main stand feet hitting hard on the floor plate. As with the new Vespa PX Lusso models, the stand stop is now positioned on the sturdy mounting plates on the central frame tunnel.
The main stand is ideally stopped here without causing the floor pan to vibrate.
Not only is the noise when it is folded up, the stand with Soft Stop technology is also gentle on the frame. Cracks in the floor pan, caused by the original main stand, are forever history.
Easy to assemble, delivery incl. Retaining plate
The Soft Stop main stand is delivered including stand sheets. These have additional stop plates on which the main stand rests. This avoids direct contact between the stand tube and the frame and also protects the frame (the original Piaggio stand rubs directly on the painted floor panel from the factory!).

bgm PRO tubeless aluminum rims for Vespa classic scooters
The solid aluminum rim from BGM PRO enables tubeless tires to be fitted, as is common in the motorcycle sector.
It replaces the standard rim without any further changes.
The resulting advantages are:

- Better responsiveness of the chassis

WEIGHT REDUCTION
The weight saving compared to an original Vespa PX steel rim is 600 grams. In addition, there is a weight saving of about 370 grams due to the hose that is no longer required. The unsprung masses are thus reduced by almost one kilogram per axle (over 64%). The responsiveness of the chassis improves noticeably.
SAFE
With a double so-called "hump" in the rim bed, the tire is always safely guided in the rim. Similar to the latest runflat technology in the automotive sector, the air can slowly escape if a foreign object (nail or similar) is inserted without the tire slipping into the rim well. The vehicle comes to a controlled stop. In addition, the rim has recesses between the screw-on points. This improves the cooling of the brake.

Our find of the year? Original Vespa ET3 speedometer
Original Vespa ET3 speedometer? We could hardly believe our luck when we discovered the boxes at an old supplier colleague's in a corner of his warehouse. This ingenious find is an original Vespa Piaggio speedometer from old stock - New Old Stock -> NOS.
The original Vespa ET3 speedometer from Italy from Veglia Borletti dates back to the good old Vespa days. After we dusted the boxes, the contents turned out to be absolutely perfect - without any signs of storage, as if fresh from production - but certainly 30 years old or older.
Of course, this original speedometer impresses with a quality and a finish that none of the many repro speedometers from all over the world has ever come close to.

Vespa Primavera 1968 VMA2T
The first Vespa Primavera came on the market in 1968.
Light and fresh lines, brilliant performance, simplicity and sheer driving pleasure: Vespa Primavera comes like a breath of fresh air into a world that is hungry for change. It became one of the most durable and popular models in Vespa history. Its agile handling and its speed, together with its elegance and lightness, which the girls loved, contributed to its extraordinary sales success.
Piaggio's model of success was launched in 1967 as a facelift of the Vespa 125 Nuova presented and developed into the most successful Vespa model with over 240.000 units built in the 14-year construction period. Compared to the Vespa 125 Nuova, the frame of the Vespa 125 Primavera is slightly longer, but the leg shield and the footplate are slightly narrower. It also has a luggage compartment in the left side cheek. The hexagonal Piaggio emblem is emblazoned above the cascade and the lettering “125 primavera” is located above the rear light. A total of three series were produced, the first with the rear light of the Vespa 90 SS and an italic “Vespa” lettering on the leg shield, the second from 1973 with a modern, straight lettering on the front and the third series from 1976 parallel to the Vespa 125 Primavera ET3. Production ended in 1982. A 121 cm³ engine with 5,6 hp provided the motorization. Originally there were two colors, Biancospino (hawthorn white) with a black bench and later also Marrone metallizzato (brown metallic) with a cream-colored bench.

The name was derived from the newly introduced electronic ignition and the third transfer channel (ET3 stands for Elettronica 3 Traversi), the visible distinguishing feature was the new exhaust, which was led around the engine in a banana shape (“ET3 banana”). All of these measures also resulted in a slightly higher engine output. The Vespa 125 Primavera ET3 was delivered in numerous colors. In 1983 production ended after 144.000 vehicles had been built.
(ET3 stands for Elettronica 3 Traversi) where E stands for electronic ignition and T3 for three transfer channels (Travasi 3). So the Primavera ET3 is a model that is characterized by a
- electronic ignition, the three overcurrent channels channels in the cylinder,
- a new and longer silencer from the 90s SS
- and the ignition key on the handlebar.
All of this led to an even higher performance and confirms the legendary sportiness of the Primavera.

Little spring check - what do your cables look like?
The birds chirp it from the trees and roofs, the scooters are fetched from the garage and basement: spring is finally here. It's high time you took a look at the Bowden cables and cable sleeves on your scooter.
The cables are relevant to safety! The ropes mostly operate the brakes, clutch and gas on your scooter. Anyone who has ever seen a scooter hanging at full throttle knows what I'm talking about. A broken train can have fatal consequences. I don't even like to imagine a brake that doesn't work. In the best case scenario, if the clutch cable breaks, you simply have to break down and have to change it on site or get help.
But it doesn't even have to get that far: With a simple function and visual check, you can minimize the risk of a broken cable in advance!
Function test: Are the trains stiff?
Unfortunately, you often don't notice that yourself because you have got used to the loss of comfort. In any case, the slightest creaking noises and even a slight hooking movement when actuated are noticeable. Sometimes the lever does not return to its original position or only hesitantly. Does your throttle not go back by itself? These can all be indicators of worn cables.
Visual check of the Bowden cables
A visual check of the cables makes it easier and more certain. Most of the trains are hidden in the frame, but usually no problems arise there. Take a close look at the cable housings and inner cables. If your moves look like this, it's high time you changed them.
Cracked and brittle outer shells are a problem!
But the problem is homemade and only a matter of time: the old, originally installed trains are very simple to assemble. They only consist of a thin, outer casing and a narrow metal spiral in which the inner Bowden cable runs. If the outer shell has become brittle over the years, moisture and dirt can easily get into the track of the train. High wear and tear and stiff trains are the result. That means a security risk and definitely a loss of comfort.

Our wire rope hoists exceed the factory specifications and impress with the highest quality at a low price. All cables in the bgm PRO cable pull have vehicle-specific lengths and can therefore be installed directly without reworking. Particular attention was paid to high-quality details such as double-pressed end sleeves, burr-free nipples or tinned wire ends. Installation is quick and easy.
To make operation easier and more precise, the outer shell of the front brake, gearshift, throttle and clutch have a very low-friction PTFE layer on the inside.
The inner cables can be oiled or greased, but they run extremely smoothly.
Tips:
- When assembling the cables and the matching nipples, always make sure that you insert them with a little grease! This makes it easier for the nipple to turn in the lever when it is actuated.
- A worn one lever you can recognize it by an oval, enlarged pull nipple seat. And use if possible new clamp nipples.

New levers Vespa PX (brake lever & clutch lever)
We are happy to introduce you to the new CNC sport levers from bgm PRO. The Vespa PX levers are CNC-machined from solid aluminum. The surface is hard anodized, which results in a very noble and also resistant finish in black or alternatively matt black.

LEVER FOR VESPA PX WITH DISC BRAKE
For vehicles with hydraulic disc brakes, the upper brake master cylinder on the handlebars is crucial for choosing the right lever / set:
- GRIMECA year of construction 1998-2004
From 1998, with the introduction of the PX Disc models, Piaggio installed master brake cylinders from Grimeca. This can be recognized by the inscription “GRIMECA” on the brake fluid reservoir. - HENG TONG year 2004-
From around 2004, the company switched to Heng Tong brake pumps. These have no manufacturer identification. These pumps are also used on the current PX models.
LEVER FOR VESPA PK MODELS
The PK S and PK XL1 models (approx. 1983-1989) use brake and clutch levers made of plastic (black) ex works. These are slightly larger on the mount and therefore require an approx. 1,5 mm thick washer at the top as well as at the bottom for compensation. Then the levers can also be used here. The PK XL2 models (recognizable by the choke lever on the handlebar) can unfortunately not be equipped with these levers.
